I consider myself to be a strong, independent, intelligent individual. I have way too many hobbies to list, but I like just about anything, and am willing to try just about anything once.

I moved to the Portland area from the north-east in 2007, right after I got my BS in CS. I've turned into a huge fan of the area, particularly the variety of beer, the people, and the atomosphere.

I am a little bit geeky, though I prefer to describe myself as more of a mechanically minded individual. I'm awesome in that I can fix just about anything, but can be a little introverted at first.

I have a bit of a sports car habit (I swear officer... I wasn't speeding!), and a new found airplane habit. There is nothing like the freedom of being able to fly to obscure places on a whim. Like I said, I really enjoy new things.

Overall, I'm a very laid back person, and have a sarcastic sense of humor, and usually get along with just about anyone. Not a fan of the hyper-religious, but if you are cool with my beliefs and won't try and change mine, I'd love to hear from ya, so drop me a message.

I'm a software engineer for a local technology company, which fits my major, so yay for that! I finally found something that I'm really good at that I really enjoy, and it pays the bills! What more could one want from their career?

Besides that, I spend my spare time doing just about anything I can. Everything from exploring the area from the ground and air, to tinkering with new things.

Books: I really like Tom Clancy, John Gresham, Michael Connelly, and similar authors. I enjoyed the Harry Potter series, and am pretty pumped about the new Eragon books. Otherwise, I tend to read a lot of technical books. I can enjoy just about any story though.

Movies: I'm so confused on this one, even Netflix seems confused at times. I don't hyper analyze movies, but I do tend to like a solid plot. Otherwise I can see the value in just about any movie.

Music: I like most of the 70s/80s rock type music, though I've recently heard a bit of blues that I like. I enjoy listening to Jazz, though my knowledge of the genre is quite limited. At the moment, XM46,XM49, and XM26. Picked up an enjoyment for the Spin Doctors recently, and a few others from Pandora.

Food: As far as food, I will try just about anything once. I am on a bit of an Italian kick of late, but absolutely adore little hole in the wall restaurants.

Everything! I guess you could say one of my faults is that I think too much. At the moment it is airplanes, but recently it has been everything from baseball to weirdo jokes.

Typical? Most times I'm just watching a movie or reading a good book.

I go to a bar occasionally, though I'd much rather be with a small group of friends.

I secretly (ok, guess not anymore...) sorta like chick flicks. I'll complain about them, but I pretty much enjoy them. They appear on my Netflix a little more often than should be considered healthy.

While on the topic, I figure I should mention that I am sort of a fan of the Pixar type movies. I used to kidnap my little cousin so I would have cover for going to see them.
