My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Here's a little list of the things that make me smile: A good harmony, brunch at 1pm, flowers-even with thorns, giving and receiving foot massages, a creative brainstorming session is hot, photography, affection please, chicks that can rock, karaoke (private room only- not a cheesy bar), bacon (sorry J-Date), extra-thick body lotion (yet, y'know, not greasy), an outdoor shower on a mild summer day, sunsets, poker, air-hockey/foosball/ping pong/darts/pool (and yet, oddly, not bars), did I mention Ping Pong?, CHEESE (I'm obsessed with CHEESE!), my friends, a good hug, ponytails or a casual braid, iced coffee, candles, coming-of-age stories, kids (yours), feeling free, summer camp, good lighting, a breeze off a lake in the mountains, The Knicks, kayaking, Pilates, tennis & peanut butter (just don't eat it anymore).

**A warm and honest DISCLAIMER: If you are seeking a casual "hook-up", eh - not your gal.

DISLIKES: Typos (even though, I'm sort of the typo QUEEN.), eggplant, allergies, extremists, a flat note, people who are mean to their assistants, Actors who are “on” all the time, growing up, fish as pets (good to eat!), the over-use of LOL in emails (Wow, that's a big one for me), a leaky radiator, scary lightning (eek, hold me!), a slow paced intern and writing online dating profiles. (Oh, and when I say sadly means...I am super allergic to your pet. Sorry).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
My word for 2014 was/is Brave. So, I took the high-pressured job offer, I said yes to cameras in my face (1st and last time that will happen...I think), and now I am coming up for air from crazy hours of work to look on this thing, because there is so much more to life than work! (I hope).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Chatting up the room. Hugging. Problem solving. Taking pictures of beautiful and not-so-beautiful things. I LOVE creative brainstorming. Social media for business/marketing (BUT don't do any of the above for a living - but have recently considered all of them - even hugging). I am the calm one in an emergency (just so ya know).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile and how quickly I put them at ease. (Rumor has it that my hugs kind of rock).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Love TV. Fact. I am not tied to it thanks to my DVR. I miss Breaking Bad. Summer guilty pleasure is Big Brother. Orange is The New Black is dope (yes, I use words like that).

As for music: I'm never near a radio (no car), but due to my career I try to listen to Pop and Current tunes. My music taste is all over the place. Who I really love Bruno Mars, Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry, Jamie Cullen, Sara Barellies (pretty sure I just misspelled her name, so how much I could really love her?), Carol King, good ole Jazz Singers...

Movies/Theater: There are plenty of major films I have not me. Hitting more Broadway this year and having a blast.

Food: I am a low carb / completely sugar-free gal (for several years - it's my life-style and it has proudly changed my life and health) - but I usually find something to eat anywhere. Don't let my food needs stress you out. I love Indian, Steak Houses, Fish, Chinese, DINERS, Sushi...well...I just love food.

Books: When the mood strikes me - I dive into coming of age stories. This mood strikes me about 3 times a year.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. An egg-white omelette
2. Air conditioning
3. Annoying people that I am not an iPhone user.
5. Iced Coffee
6. Creative thinking/thinkers
7. Allergy Meds (Do I really have to follow the rules of okCupid
and list just 6?)
8. Laughter.
9. The kids I work with.
10. Long phone calls with my friends/family in other parts of the country.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to hit that "work/life" balance.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I don't have a typical Friday - but I do know...I'm not heading to a bar or a night club.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Open book on an as needed basis. Right?

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are creative, funny(ish), positive, open-minded, ever evolving (and good with that), supportive and able to be supported right back, plus grounded. I love meeting new people. (Greatly prefer a message that shows me that you actually read at least 20% of this...hint hint). "Hey you, nice smile" doesn't count.
