I am brainy, humorous, and short.

My Self-Summary

I'm an enigma. I'm a classically- and operatically-trained singer who loves singing rock at Karaoke bars. I'm a super-intelligent geek who is cool and fun. I'm a Diva who would rather wear pajamas than dress up. I'm a sweet, generous, and loving woman who is strong, determined, and self-confident.

Most importantly, I'm a liberal Christian who is looking for the same in a man. I'm willing to consider dating non-Christians, but not conservatives. Been there, done that, it just doesn't work, no matter how hard we try. Also, atheists tend not to work well with me; agnostics are a possibility.

I don't need a man to make me happy. I wouldn't mind being in a relationship, but my life is complete without one.

What I’m doing with my life

You want the whole list or just the top 10?

My main job is as a Church Musician at a suburban church. My "day job" is as an accountant for a small insurance company. I also sing professionally in a couple of choirs, including Portland Symphonic, teach private voice, and serve on the board of a local music school.

I’m really good at

Music (especially singing and conducting), and just about anything I set my mind to and want to do well.

The first things people usually notice about me

My positive attitude. But don't be fooled, it's just a front :) That, and I am a brainiac.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

a) _The Mists of Avalon_ by Marian Zimmer Bradley b) _The Princess Bride_ (inconceivable!) c) it's a tie between Bach, Mozart, Led Zepplin, and Bobby McFerrin d) chocolate

The six things I could never do without

1. chocolate 2. other people 3. a computer 4. cats 5. my glasses (I'm almost legally blind without them) 6. modern comforts (i.e. flush toilet, electricity, comfortable bed, etc.... I enjoy camping, but never for more than a week at a time)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

life, the universe, and everything... But only when I'm bored, which isn't often

On a typical Friday night I am

Doing any one of a number of things: hanging with friends, going to a concert, singing at a concert, watching tv, seeing a movie, playing computer games, at a bar, taking a nap.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Gosh, my life's an open book. If you meet me, I could tell you anything. I wouldn't even know what to put here.

You should message me if

You're any of the following: - clergy - geek - musician (of any style or instrument) - animal lover

AND

you're single (or widowed, divorced, etc. but not still married) and looking for someone like me.
