I don't like to think of myself as short so much as vertically conservative. Not so much small as condensed...half the packaging twice the power.

I am a fire ball, a force of nature, a femme fatale of the first degree and a great friend to have if your world falls apart...or you just need someone to talk trash with over a glass of wine.

I am cute, feisty, freakishly intelligent with regard to some things(especially people, politics, and things you can do with people when you get bored talking about politics)...hopelessly inept when it comes to others(If it is non-organic and has moving parts eventually I will want to throw it off a tall building).
I love nature as a place to enjoy silence and solitude as well as get rowdy around a fire with friends. I love the city for its vibrancy and variety of options but I rarely stray outside my neighborhood. I love my social circle but prefer to spend at least a third of my time without any company at all. And I have a number of wonderful, sexy playmates in my life but I'm greedy, so I'm very selectively seeking one or two additional folks for romantic entanglements and adventure.

I'm not inexperienced when it comes to personal sites, and I've found it best to be up front about what my deal breakers are. To reiterate and clarify here's the main points:

First up, I'm polyamorous. I have a primary partner as well as four other more occasional romantic involvements on my dance card right now.
Secondly, I'm extremely kinky and I'm very public about it. I'm an active member of the local BDSM community. And if you guessed submissive...boy did you guess wrong.
Third, I'm more omni-sexual than bi-sexual.
Fourth, I like to laugh loud and long, I talk openly about sex and love to get others to as well, I'm extremely gregarious, I'm a big believer in PDAs, and I'm a pretty notorious flirt.

What all that might mean to you:

You're gonna need to be cool with multi-partner relationships and my preference is people who have experience with this type of interpersonal dynamic. Monogamy is never gonna be an option but love and friendship certainly is.
Not really interested in naked time with someone who isn't kinky(for more info on this take the time to check out how I answered all the sex questions).
It's the person, not the plumbing, that matters to me.
Those signs that say "You must be this tall to ride this ride"...well the sign for this one is "Your ego must be this strong...".

If I feel like we'll be a good match at the very least I'll add you to my favorites, if you don't hear a reply to your email or see me save you to my favs after a week, that's me taking a pass. And even if I am interested... it may be a little while before I have time to do anything about it.

Watching movies is one of my favorite ways to relax so this list would be long...instead, here's the flicks currently near the DVD player(which mostly means I own it and have/wanted to watch it again: Blow, Chocolat, Secretary, Orlando, Vampire Hunter D, Barbarella, Wild Orchid, The Governess, Dangerous Beauty, Angel A, Ghost in the Shell, Coraline, The Ice Storm, Cabaret, Lars and The Real Girl, The Brothers Bloom, Imma Youjo, Elizabeth, Heather, Impromptu, Army of Darkness(not the zombie flick), The Aristocats, The Matrix, V for Vendetta, Shortbus, The Center of the World, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.

I may not have had TV channels since college but I do love me some serial television. Ones I've felt I needed to own: West Wing, Dead Like Me, True Blood, Sex in the City, Tales of the City, Firefly, Buffy, Carnival, Deadwood, Lost Girl. Don't own but enjoy: Once, Doctor Who, Venture Brothers, X Files, Archer, Glee.

Music wise, my tastes run the gamut from Bowie to Billie Holiday, Chopin to Carina Round. I like my girly folk rock, my 80's flashbacks, a bit of dark industrial and usually start of my day listening to classical or my perfectly mellow "Pretty" playlist. A few tunes I recently purchased: Fun Machine by Lake Street Dive, My Head is an Animal by Of Monsters and Men, The Truth About Love by Pink, Middle Cyclone by Neko Case.

When I'm contemplating going out for food, mexican, italian, thai or a well prepared piece of fish pretty much always sound good. At home I tend to eat based on external temperature. When its hot out I'd pretty much live on bacon, tomatoes, cantaloupe and ice tea if I could. Come fall I'll be all about soups and will start having an interest in cooking again by winter.

Some of my favorite restaurants in town are Machiavelli's, Coastal Kitchen, Tamarind Tree, Vitos, Charlies, and Jamjuree.

I feel pretty solid that if it really came down to it I could maintain for quite awhile with little beyond the most basic of life needs without going off my nut. This is assuming that we're talking some crash landed on an island/post apocalyptic hypothetical.

If what this question is actually trying to discern is what things bring the most pleasure/meaning to my life...well here goes:

Touch(sex, hugs, kisses, massage, petting, hand holding)
Community(people, friends and family, who I may not always get along with but who accept me for who I am)
Solitude(it keeps the social time from being meaningless)
Communication(internet, long talks about random silly stuff, long talks about things that matter most)
Self-expression(let thy freak flag fly)
Bacon(It's not meat...it's a miracle)

Sex, politics, sexual politics, inter-personal relationships, intra-personal exploration, all the wonderful people in my life, my next crazy adventure and my always at least 10 items long to-do list.

I don't work a regular 9-5 so Friday night could find me working or recovering from the partying I did on Thursday. I kinda prefer either low key(movie in or dinner out) or private functions(special events, house parties) on Friday and Saturday nights. A packed bar full of people trying to vent a whole weeks worth of mundanity is not my idea of a good time.

I was a Girl Scout until I was in Junior High.

I really do pay attention to those match percentages. If we're not at least in the upper 80 percentile, and under 10% on the enemy scale, please don't email me. And, yes, that also holds true even if you don't feel it reflects who you really are or who you think you could be with "The Right Woman". If you're not out enough to be honest on here we won't be a good match.

Speaking of honesty...I'm not completely sure what it is I'm looking for on here...but I feel fairly certain that I'll know it when I see it. But it probably looks a lot like this:

A person actively chasing their bliss.
Someone who either has a job that they love or one that at least allows them to explore what they love be that travel, art, or socializing.
No coasting allowed.
Some form of creative expression going on there.
A large, healthy, and often mutli-facetted, social circle.
Spirituality and political awareness = VERY sexy.
An appreciation of big nature as more than just a place for extreme sports.
Gregarious, witty, thoughtful, empathetic, passionate and playful are words that have been applied to you by others...not just by yer mom.

So if all that stuff rings a bell, and you have a weakness for hot redheads, hit me with your best shot*.
