I am 34, I have two boys who live with my first husband. Yes, I have been married twice and am not looking to get married again. That does not mean that I am not looking for a long term primary, I am.

I am adventurous, artistic, and a geek. I am learning to kickbox right now and am loving being out doors.

I am what you could call a jack of all trades. My hobbies and my interests are vast. I love to read, watch movies, walk, I love music, though I can barely play the radio. I am more of a sit back and listen and enjoy kind. I am an artist and am passionate about design.

I am very open and willing to answer questions about darn near anything.

I hate to have to put this here, but apparently I need to. Please, if you are going to send me a message, do not use text speak. As you might have noticed from my profile, I speak real English and appreciate the same in return. Also, one liners, unless incredibly witty, will be unlikely to get a response. The thing I prize most in my friends, and anyone I see, is intelligence and a sense of humor. Display some, please!

Mostly, I am having fun!

I have found that I am also changing focus on what I want in my personal life. If you have not received an answer from me then this would be why. It would be wrong to start something new, before I figured out what I want. What I am looking forward to in my life, right now, is to find someone to share that with. Not.. hey lets get married (I have no plans on remarrying) but someone that I can count on to be willing to share new adventures with, and occasionally just be there after a long stressful day.

Remembering stuff that no one needs to know. A coworker calls me the 'fount of all knowledge'. Dealing with people, and having fun. Laughing. I am also very good at being silly.

I have been lucky enough to be told at times that I am very good at being a friend. The people I choose to bring into my life are a big part of the reason that life is fundamentally good, I honor that and cherish my friends.

Most people say my eyes, or my smile. The next thing they mention is either smart or funny. I usually notice they are not looking me in the eye when they say this though.

Books: single book, The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand; Series: The Incarnations of Immortality by Pierce Anthony or The Kushiel series by Jacquilne Carey

Movies: I can't list a single specific movie. I love movies. My favorite genera are comic book movies and romantic comedies.

Music: Oh dear, I love pretty much everything. My Ipod looks like someone with multiple personalities took it over. Not huge on hip hop or rap but even some of that I enjoy. I just cannot even hope to give a favorite here unless I break it down by type and even I don't want to read that much!

Food.. food is good. Food is wonderful. Food that is thoughtfully and beautifully prepared is heavenly. I am not a big seafood fan, but I am willing to try nearly anything once. My favorite types of food are Chinese, Mexican, Italian and Mediterranean. I love to cook when I have beautiful things to inspire me and I am a pretty darn good baker.

What I am going to do next, the next hike, the next book, the next time I hang out with friends. There is always something new to explore.

I love learning. I love to learn new things, new skills new ways of looking at the world. I am always wondering, what if.. how does that work.. or why is that?

Oddly, Fridays tend to be my quiet night at home on the internet. Hanging out with friends is the second most likely.

I am willing to admit to nearly anything, the only things truly private are the stories that do no belong to me.

You want to hang out, make a new friend. If you want to talk to some one who will always be honest. Yes, I will tell you your ass looks fat in those jeans. If you want someone to explore this amazing state with and who will always be ready with a really great hug.
