My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
It's been ages since I've had to fill one of these out. I almost don't even know any more what my summary is...I'm so much better at just taking a random aspect of my life and kind of stream-of-consciousnessing (not a verb, I know) about it. I guess I'm just one of those strange geeky boys who has gotten a bit hardened living in this strange town, waffling between hating it for the hassles and the lack of running into sweet people in my adventures, and loving it for the food truck hunts, karaoke bars, and the ability to HAVE adventures.

I do miss having a partner in evil. And in zombie hunting. Or was it becoming a zombie then brain hunting? I always get those mixed up.

I did just decide to give this A-List thing a try. It's mostly due to that this site is still full of way more interesting people (that means YOU) than the average paid site full of the carbon copied, straight out of central casting types. Different makes me smile.

That and it just became half price so the Jewish heritage is kicking in. ^_^
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work too much at a marketing research technology job (I could do things with data that would make you quiver...oh yeah).

I'm not exactly a video gamer, but I do get a kick out of Wii Table Tennis battles. And Mario Parties. Preferably high stakes. I also still dig board games, but don't play often enough.

I tend to the needs of two spoiled cats, Harley and Ivy. Bonus points if you know where those names are from. Yes, I'm a geek and proud.

But lately, I've been ok with life, even if it currently has too much work and not enough crazy lovely people in it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Hungry Hungry Hippos. Watching zombie movie marathons. Giving really kick-ass hugs. And sleeping, wonderful sleeping.

I'd like to think I can sing and dance for your amusement (and my own), but I'd need an objective judge.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Hm. Usually it's my random Threadless t-shirt. Though the XKCD ones get a response more often. Nothing says "I'm a friendly guy" like a "Communist Party" shirt showing Lenin hosting a kegger.

That, and I'm hobbity short. But happy about it, even if it can be a hinderance when confronted with certain types of people.

Question, question too hard! But I'll try.

Need to segregate into comics, novels, and magazines.
Comics: The Boys, The Walking Dead, Secret Six....those are what I read regularly. But I do read the capes on occasion, and some classic favorites include Preacher, the Garth Ennis Punisher (damn I love me some Ennis). I dig shorter volume graphic novels (Scott Pilgrim being a favorite), and manga is cool.

Novels: Have been a bit too ADD lately to really focus on novels, but favorites include World War Z, Brains (I like zombies!), historical nonfiction, Fear and Loathing in Las, I wish I read more. I demand a comfy reading chair!

Magazines: Wizard, Toyfare, High Times (um), Card Player, Harper's, the New Yorker on rare occasion.

Movies: Been a long time since I've really seen a movie I could add to my favorites. I think I watch the oldies too much. Fan of zombie movies, of course, old PT and Wes Anderson movies...Coen Brothers. Always wanted to go to a midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show (and I'm right by the Nuart, too!), and The Room. Bad horror. Meaningful comedy. And I will watch a romcom with you and not complain unless it's REALLY bad.

TV: Weeds, Dexter, True Blood, Arrested Development, everything put out by Matt Groening and Seth McFarlane. Ugly Americans and Archer are great. Batman from the 90s. Rar!

Music: Confession - I love music, but know almost nothing about it, so just randomly get stuff from songs/bands/albums on a whim. My ipod tracklist is ALL over the place. I can't even begin.

Food: Brains. Yum. Ooh, and sushi and dim sum.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are intrigued by supervillains, and wish to one day become one, preferably with a snarky, equally crazy partner. What's your superpower?

Or maybe you'd like to just play a game of Literati, which in my opinion is one of the sweetest "let's chat online and waste wonderful time with each other" online activities out there. I
won't go easy on you though. ^_^

Seriously though...lately I've just been working too much. I welcome random messages to keep me sane during the workday, even if you don't know what to say and just want to say hi and see where life leads us.
