This stage of my life is more about feeding my soul than lining my pockets, acquiring stuff or keeping up with the Joneses or anyone else. Family, friends, health and learning are my focus; however at this stage of life it is definitely ME time. I value simplicity and organization. One of my long standing passions is to motivate, encourage ,inspire or support one of my friends everyday. One never knows when an act of kindness will turn someone's day (or life) around.

I enjoy sports, music, reading, trivia, movies, road trips,gardening, travel, antiques/auctions, hiking and of course, conversation. I am more spiritual than religious. While I typically don't debate politics, I lean to the left. Wellness is important to me; I try to walk or engage in some form of physical activity every day for fitness and as a stress reliever.

I am a sucker for lively eyes and a devilish grin. Not interested in cheaters,haters, know it alls and persons who are intolerant. Your car, motorcycle and boat are far more interesting to you than to me but that's ok, it is important to have your own interests. I don't expect people to be drama free or have all of their baggage stowed, life happens, just keep things in perspective. I am a therapist by trade but I have no desire to be your therapist. We are all works in progress.Who you are matters more to me than who you know, what you do, where you live or how much you have. I value education ( school of hard knocks included) over income.

I am seeking a companion for a life journey built on trust, tolerance, sharing, loyalty, passion, fun, and abiding friendship. I am the proud mother of 3 older teenagers( 1 in college, twins in high school) but I have plenty of room in my life for a new partner and certainly for new friends . Map reading skills are not necessary but you must enjoy getting lost and tolerate detours. It's all about the ride!

Celebrating! I passed the National Counselor Exam in March. I received my Georgia Professional Counselor license this week. I still maintain my Ohio Social Worker license just in case ! Now to decide which direction my career will take. In the mean time, I am self employed as a professional organizer and home care services provider. I enjoy the flexibility and independence that my work provides.

Listening, needs assessment , problem solving, setting and meeting goals and managing the details. Even though this may sound like my resume, I bring these same skills to a relationship.

Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry and Naked by David Sedaris are my favorite books. I was given The Encyclopedia of Bad Taste as a gift, I use it as a desk reference! I have a profound fascination with things that are tacky. If you have a velvet Elvis, macrame owl or aqua appliances, we may have the start of a beautiful friendship.

I am a movie fan and like many genres.I enjoy the John Ford/John Wayne westerns. Life is Beautiful is possibly my all -time favorite film; it breaks my heart ,makes me laugh and inspires me each time I watch it.

Cable tv series like Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Big C, Game of Thrones etc. are my favorites. Big Bang Theory makes me laugh out loud. If you are a Sheldon Cooper type , feel free to message me immediately.

I am fond of most food but I especially like Italian and cajun foods. Cooking is a survival skill for me and not an art form. However, if you are a foodie or have culinary gifts feel free to take charge.

My music tastes are varied but I will admit that I love punk rock and merely tolerate country music. Precious Time by Van Morrison is my current theme song.
