My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Any given day you might find running, hiking, swimming, or shuttling back and forth to Tahoe to enjoy the great snow this year! When in the city you’ll find me experimenting with food – enjoying a new restaurant or trying something new in the kitchen. I also love making and listening to music; I spent many years studying the violin though lately have been into guitar.

In past – and hopefully future – incarnations of myself I’ve spent significant time traveling. I’ve visited almost 20 countries now, and have some great stories from my trips: coming face to face with a puffer fish diving in the Red Sea, an anti-government rally in Egypt, hitchhiking in Albania, and a high-stakes lion showdown in Botswana.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
For work I build digital textbooks for the iPad.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
John Lennon impressions.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
A broad and easy smile. Then sometimes that I gesticulate when I’m excited by a particular conversation topic. And I’m good at catching things I’ve accidentally knocked over with said gesticulation.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Yes, yes and yes....I can write reviews on my favorite music, books, movies and food... but something needs to be saved for the first, second and third dates. J/k I'll let you tell me about your interests too... There's always room for dessert.
Oh, and I don’t watch much TV, but there’s a special place in my heart for Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why and How - in regards to the most useless topics. How does a standard transmission work? Why do we have 7 days in a week? How would our experience of the world differ if we numbered in base twelve rather than base ten? The little things fire up my curiosity.

Often I also think Why Not?! These thoughts usually compel me to much more fun activities than the previous ones…
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I spent 7 months shopping for a new couch. And I'm really proud of it.
