Firecracker. Passionate about the things and people that are important to me! I moved to Boston from Chicago about a year ago and have had trouble meeting people outside of work so here I am. I am looking for a partner-in-crime, confidant, buddy: someone to spend some time with and see how things develop from there. Ideally, I am looking for a special relationship with someone trustworthy, passionate and fun. What is fun? Well, I love movies. I went to school for film and spend most of my free time watching DVDs or occasionally on the big screen (when I can afford it!) Some of my favorite directors are David Lynch, Kubrick, Haneke, Jordoworsky, Bergman, etc. etc. I am also really into music and seeing live shows: I love old stuff, 50's and 60's garage, 70's punk and glam, DEVO, Eno, Bowie, Lou Reed, Donovan, New York Dolls, Billy Childish, Small Faces, Otis, Nobunny, Sneaky Pinks, The Yolks, Brian Jonestown Massacre, psych, rock and much more! So basically you have to be someone who wants to sit around, watch movies and listen to music with me. Going out: dive bars, the creepier the better. I rate a good bar on how likely you feel you may get stabbed while drinking there. What can I say, I like a little danger every now and again. What else? Oh, I love to travel so hopefully I can find someone who likes to get outta town whenever they can, even if its just for a day or two. I like to have things to look forward to. I plan and plot. Please let me. And be logical because I'm not!

Working in fundraising for a local hospital, Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... wishing I was somewhere else. Dreaming of a life where I can travel and be footloose and fancy-free... and be unchained from my cubicle. Outside of work I make it my business to be the best person I can be - always working on self-improvement and helping and caring for others... It might not look like it to the outsider, but I am making the world a better place in my own special, subtle ways...

Giving advice, even if I don't follow the same advice myself! I am good at losing myself in movies, getting swept away into fantasies... Dream worlds... I am not good at falling or staying asleep but I am good at dreaming. I am good at thinking about things critically - a by-product of art school I'm afraid. I'm great at making laziness fun, but I am also good at planning future adventures. I like to plan because it gives me something fun to look forward to... and makes life worth living!

What the purpose of my life is and how I can use the time I have to do something positive, how I can improve my life, ease my mind and change my responses to the events of day-to-day life for the better... I spend a LOT of time wishing I could escape the trap of the 9 to 5 world, which I don't think I am cut out for. Wishing I was free. I think about all the places I want to go and people I want to meet over my lifetime, and how having to support myself financially hinders this dream... Is this what its all about?

At the movie theater alone, at home in my pajamas watching movies alone, eating something delicious (my end of the work week reward system) or out somewhere dancing to the limited number of good bands that come through Boston.

I have tendonitis in my right wrist and have to wear a splint that is reminiscent of the Ove Glove to bed every night. Very sexy.
