Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
(I'm on third shift training new operators, so I'm working 12's
right now. My free time is very limited at the moment. Could be up
to six months before they let me go back to a normal 1st shift 8
hour schedule. ) - Sept, 2015
I am not here to paint myself with lies to try to attract
attention. You either like me for me, or you don't. I'll give the
facts and let you take what you want from that.
I'm a logical thinker. I approach everything with a little bit of
skepticism. I'm uncomfortable with situations I can't fully
understand, but I hide it well. Honesty is a big thing to me. I can
even be too honest sometimes, but I have a certain view of who I
am, and who I should be. I'm constantly trying to be a better
person (Though it's hard.), and try to live up to my
I'm lazy from time to time, but that's just another thing I try to
keep in check. I'm anal about certain things, and can even obsess
about the placement of objects in my room. I'm messy sometimes, but
it helps me to not lose things, oddly. Not gross messy. Just
I can be fiercely loyal. I don't go out of my way to defend myself,
but I will get involved if I feel someone I care about is being
disrespected. I don't really tolerate disrespect.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working as a machine operator at Kraft Foods. I'm learning
electrical to get into maintenance, so that's my end goal.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm good at a few things. I make an awesome grilled cheese
sandwich. Also, I've never messed up a bowl of cereal... that I
know of. Oh yeah, I'm pretty good at building things. Even if they
are a bit nerdy. More on that if you get to know me.
Seriously, though, I do like to think I know a little bit about
what to do in the kitchen. Especially when it comes to chili.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I look pissed? My friends ask me if I'm mad sometimes, even if I'm
not. Just how I usually look, I guess. Probably deep in thought, or
something. Probably thinking about tacos, or pizza. Maybe bacon.
You know, the usual deep(fried) stuff.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - I'll read anything that can capture my attention after the
first 20 pages, or so. I'm not really picky. Sometimes I get into a
Movies - Again, like books I'll watch almost anything.
Shows - Don't watch much TV. Most shows now aren't all that
entertaining to me, but Netflix helps me find some that are.
Music - I'm not very broad on music. I tend to keep it within the
rock/classic rock spectrum, but I can appreciate good music from
any genre. Pandora is rapidly expanding my musical tastes. Tool,
Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Chevelle are almost always good.
Food - Love food. That is all. Do have a thing about texture,
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Truck - Really enjoy working on my truck. Can't wait to get it
drivable again. Miss driving her. (Keep in mind, non-drivable truck
does not mean I'm lacking transportation. I also have a car.)
Family - Not much to say here. Love my family, and enjoy spending
time with my family.
Friends - Same as with family, except they all seem to be moving
away. Not many of them enjoy the DFW area. Can't say I blame
Hands - Friend posed an interesting question to me once: Would you
rather lose your hands or your feet? I chose feet. I can easily do
the things I love without feet. There are pretty good prosthetics
out for that. Hands are a different story.
People - As anti-social as I like to be, I still need some time
around other people. I'm trying my best not to be a hermit.
Curtains - My sister bought me some light dampening curtains one
Christmas. Best present ever. Working nights, the sun is my enemy.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Bacon? Driving. I love to drive, and I love cars. I spend a lot of
time thinking about some of my dream cars, and what it would be
like to drive them. Mostly when trying to sleep. When I need to be
really dreaming, but can't get my brain to shut up.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm working 1st shift, so my nights are usually free. Not sure how
many of my Friday nights will be late nights, as there is always a
chance I'll have to work Saturday mornings.
(Right now even though I'm on paper as first shift, since there are
only two of us doing my job I have to work 10pm to 10am since my
coworker can't work 2pm to 2am due to another job.)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
From time to time, I've been known to listen to (And sing to)
Alanis Morissette in the shower.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to play a round of Disc Golf sometime? Would enjoy more
people to play with.
You're not trolling for the next guy to give his credit card info
to watch you go at it on webcam. Seriously, I'm not that desperate.
Not really desperate at all, honestly.
I'm not looking for hookups, or anything like that. I'm perfectly
happy with how my life is now. I would, however, like to get to
know some more people, and I'm not opposed to anything coming of
Nitty Gritty: I have no issues with race, or background. No issues
with size, either. I just enjoy the company of like minded people,
and intelligent conversation. n3tsp34k gets on my nerves faster
