I prefer intellectual and cultural pastimes, and thoroughly enjoy learning about people, their lives, and foreign cultures. I love all things food - talking about it, cooking, exploring new cuisines, and sharing the experience with friends (old and new). I'm learning how to meditate, love my Hatha yoga class, and am working on improving my spiritual and physical self.
It's important to know one's strengths and weaknesses, and I believe that people can (and should) continue to learn and develop oneself throughout their lifetime. Everyone has something to teach, but it is up to us whether we choose to learn. What would you teach me about if you could?
I attempt to keep a good work-life balance by spending one of my weekend days having fun, and the other being serious and doing coursework for my Master's program.
I'm an avid lover of (in no particular order): animals, books & reading, museums, the Arts & Crafts period, Impressionism, the number 3, the color blue, handwritten letters, postage & the postal service, tea, and cheese.
