My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
There's truth that lives and truth that dies, I don't know which so nevermind.

The sedentary life has left me edgy, unfulfilled. The open road softly beckons. Like the warm melodies of childhood. I am ready for adventure and seeking a partner to experience life with. Will it be you? We shall wait and see.

My name is Phil and I am a writer. I am looking for friendship and possible romance. Just came out of a traumatic breakup and looking for something more definitive.

My goal in life is to make movies and to make enough money from them to finance a house and property in Northern California, specifically in Redding. I want to own a couple dogs maybe a couple sloths. I have tired of the concrete and traffic of SoCal and plan to not see it for my entire life. In addition to having 2.3 children and a couple of cars and offroad vehicles and maybe a boat. I plan to spend most of my freetime with my family. Life is too short to work all the time. I cant stomach the idea of missing my kids childhoods.

I have dreams and you may say im a dreamer but im not the only one. If you are fortunate enough (or unfortunate, depending on your perception) this is what you have to look forward to. But one thing is for certain, if you are mine. I will never gave you up, never going to let you down or hurt you.

Inquire with a message if you want to share in the adventure of life with me or if you've understood some references. Kudos! Anyway, if I confound you or if you think im weird. Message me and enjoy the Philcoaster!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I attend LBCC and I graduate in 2016. I am getting things in order. I have 3 blogs on the internet running the gamut from science fiction news, politics and my film company. I also have a Youtube channel. I will provide links at some point. I write predominantly science fiction and dabble in almost all genres. I have two novels in the works and I am scripting an adaption of the anime/manga called Planetes. I sold a script in 2012 and spent almost all of the money on school. Suffice it to say, I have loads of free time especially after working production jobs in Hollywood.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Probably lots of things, I don't care to brag or anything. But you should ask about anything. Also good at some things which is inappropriate for a public forum.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My easy-going attitude. I'm really not intimidating. I am known for my direct questions and introspective attitude. But I am sociable.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Too many to list. But I am not a fan of anime. I don't read comic books or graphic novels, though I have read them, and I respect them as a medium of storytelling nonetheless.

Books- 11/22/63 by Stephen King, The Sum of All Fears by Tom Clancy, America Again: Rebecoming the Greatness we never weren't by Dr. Stephen T. Colbert DFA.

Movies-The Right Stuff (1984)- all time favorite movie. Forbidden Planet (1956) - all time favorite scifi film. Though Gattaca, Blade Runner and Close Encounters are tied. Most recent film in the theatre: (5/26/15-Tomorrowland)

Others include Drive, Star Trek series, Star Wars series, Galaxy Quest, Collateral, Cellular, Mission Impossible series. Im not into superheroes, but I tolerate them enough to watch them and talk about them with friends. Which may be a lie because I really like watching stuff from the MCU more often than I dont. I'm actually more of a Star Trek fan than a Star Wars fan. However, if you like neither, it won't really effect anything relationship wise. But if I make allusions to them, they will be lost on you.

TV show- The Newsroom, Real Time with Bill Maher, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Colbert Report, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, all Star Trek series, House of Cards...Barely started to get into Doctor Who.

Videogame- Mass Effect series, Call of Duty series, Grand Theft Auto series, Halo series.

Play- 12 Angry Jurors, The Sunset Limited.

Music- I like synthpop or classic rock. If you listen to it, it sounds reminiscent of 80s synthesized music. The Outrunners, Mitch Murder, Dynatron, etc.

Sports- Not an avid sports viewer but I like/play hockey, American football.

Food- I like chicken, easier on the body than beef. Omnivore.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
*In no particular order:
1. Entertainment
2. Writing
3. Family
4. Friends
5. Food
6. Sleep
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I am a born philosophe. I'm always thinking about stuff. Be it time travel, space exploration, or politics, religion, economics, lots of things I ponder. It's usually pretty tangential.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I do not have a typical Friday. It's always different. Sometimes stay in, sometimes go to a club or bar or restraurant. Sometimes make a movie. Having a typical Friday would not be something I would condone.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Im not a prude and not very private. You ask, I'll tell.
