My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi there, my name is Meghan... I'm corny, somewhat nerdy, and occasionally offensive.... None of that hasn't changed since I was young and I'm proud of it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am constantly thinking about how I can help the people I care about get a better shake at ___(whatever it is they might be struggling with)_____. That fits along well with my chosen field of work too.

I also like using ellipsis and periods together.... and analyzing my every word choice when writing. (I'm trying really hard to not do that here.)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Reading things upside down.
Losing track of how long has passed when I'm reading or writing.
Finding things that I want to buy that are exactly like things I already bought and resisting the urge to buy those things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably that I am easily startled when I'm not facing someone walking up to me and sometimes even when I'm looking in that direction too.
I'm not afraid or unobservant but I'm usually deep in my own thoughts every single time this happens.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1- A journal
2- A good pen
3- water (I drink a lot of water)
4- adequate vision correction (glasses or contacts)
5- The Internet-- I met my last boyfriend here-- he was a French model. Plus, they can't put anything on The Internet that isn't true.
6- ????? TBD
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
"How am I going to word that?"
"Why do I have a phone voice with gas station attendants?"
"How am I going to get ahold of that video of me singing T-Swift on NYE and destroy it before it makes its way onto the Internet?"
"Why do I still capitalize Internet?"
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Truthfully, no matter where I end up I am likely answering my friends or family in partial song lyrics-- this is not intentional.

In fact, this happens so regularly that when I suggested to a friend that I needed to curb this habit, she balked at the suggestion asserting that it was a part of my core Megginess (sp?).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I get off the train at the end of the day, if I am the first person to get through the turnstiles and out the door I feel like I won a secret race and that the rest of my evening will be AWESOME.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Send me a message if you found something amusing about my profile or you think we would get along. Or if you think, "Gee, she sounds great except...." and let me know what it is I said that made you think that.

Send me a message if you'd like to meet and chat, are taller than me, work in IT (for some reason I get along really well with these types), you can keep your end of the conversation going, you are genuine about who you are and what you want.

I'm not interested in guys who are a lot older or a lot younger than me, guys who live really far away from me, guys who are not gainfully employed, guys who are already in relationships, guys who rite lik dis, guys who aren't ready to be in relationships.
