I can't really point out many different book series; I tend to
stick with science fiction (medieval fantasy is a big type for me)
and non-fiction based in psychology.
Don't watch a lot of movies or television, mostly because I keep
myself occupied with other things most of the time, but, if someone
recommends a good show or movie, I'm willing to watch. I tend to
keep it to comedy and action, though; horror's not my thing. I've
had some show recommended to me, most recently picking up Doctor
Who, which I've thoroughly enjoyed. The only thing I actively
record these days is Regular Show (which is excellent, by the way),
to be honest. I also eagerly await new episodes of the Legend of
Korra, which has been doing very well for itself so far.
I'm going to make a list of the most relevant video games, as that
might do a lot of good for some people--Dark Souls, Street Fighter
(all versions, really), Pump It Up/Dance Dance Revolution (though
I'm a bit out of practice now), Super Smash Bros., Pokémon,
Professor Layton, Rhythm Heaven, Fire Emblem, WarioWare, Wario
Land...As you might tell, I lean heavily toward a lot of Nintendo
fare, but I don't otherwise write stuff off. I'm a huge fan of the
older generations of consoles/handhelds as well as arcades, and I'm
all about an excellent multiplayer experience.
I'm still figuring out music preferences overall, but, I seem to
like a lot of genres. Personal favorites that stick out: Freezepop,
Chromeo, La Roux, Janelle Monáe, fun., Sia, Cake, Queen, Michael
Jackson, Heart, Tears For Fears, The Human League, The Avalanches,
The Beatles, Duran Duran, Crystal Castles, Ratatat, Hall &
Oates, Ladytron, Outkast...I also have a thing for 80's pop in
general, and most of this works well for singing. I'm a little
shameless in that and not the greatest singer in the world, but the
enthusiasm is great for a laugh and a good time in general.
I'm open to almost anything when it comes to food, outside of being
picky about many condiments. I'm ready and willing to try new
stuff. Sticking to a sweeping label, I'd say my favorites would be
Italian food and seafood, though my item of choice is probably a
thick and intimidating burger.
