My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Born and raised in Omaha. Started learning to build and repair guitars when I was 14. The lessons have stuck with me, all for the better. Had a brief stint over at UNO (electronic engineering) before I decided it was a waste of time and money for me.

I've had many jobs over the years, more concerned with learning as much as I could more than the paycheck. I've always approached them with the idea that I would use the skill sets in a culmination for something great.

So far it has, as....
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Been working on getting my bar open for roughly a year and a half. Have my location, an excited populous, and a nigh-inhuman drive to get/keep it running. Should be up and rolling soon.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Generally? My tattoos. They've become a scrapbook of my life so far. There's a rhyme and reason to every design and every placement. People seem to pick up on that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

BOOKS (just gonna save time and primarily stick to authors)
Most of Philip K. Dick's work, Neuromancer, A Clockwork Orange, He Died With a Felafel in His Hand, Chuck Palahniuk, Warren Ellis, Garth Ennis, Ben Templesmith, Brian Azarello, Brian Michael Bendis (cut me some slack, I worked in a comic store).

Damn near anything based on the above works (most were done well), Apocalypse Now, Watchmen, Night Watch, Walking Dead, Arrow, Arrested Development, The IT Crowd, Spaced, Black Books, MST3K, Battlestar Galactica (new one), Fringe.

As the above would suggest, I do love some sci-fi. Direct, when done with decent accuracy (not an expert, but when there's an obvious lack of research, it bugs me). Fantasy with good dialogue/acting/etc otherwise (I've lost many a night on Wookiepedia).

An increasing amount of Power Metal as days go on. Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, 3 Inches of Blood, etc.
Interpol (while not in the above genre) has always held a special place with me.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Phone (running a business is difficult when you're unplugged)
Whiskey (Decent Bourbon/Scotch, preferably)
Glasses or contacts (kinda blind without 'em)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I still need to get done that day.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
My "weekend" is rarely consistent.
It generally amounts to my desire to bar hop and who's out on a given night. Might hit a dive for a quiet night, a standup night, or the spot concert.
