I am spontaneus, creative, and indescribable.

My Self-Summary

"I'm a good person! I don't smoke, I don't drink, I dont force myself on blind people..."

I guess the first warning you should get is that "here there be nerd". Yes, I like anime, sci-fi and fantasy, and I play D&D (gasp!). though I like to claim these as hobbies and not a life, I am trying to open an anime store, so maybe I'd be lying <_<

I have 2 cats, which I often refer to as my daughters, apply what freudian analysis you'd like to that. Baleeka is one of the most intelligent creatures I've ever known, and Lynx is a ninja.

I'm currently a manager at a blockbuster, who I've only stuck with because they encourage their employees to give their honest opinion about things. Any job that lets me tell someone that a movie was complete crap works for me! As for the rest of my time, well, I find ways to fill it. I'd like to do more outdoors. Who knows? Maybe I'll meet someone who actually WANTS to go hiking with me.

What I’m doing with my life

As stated before, I'll hopefully be opening my own business soon, and if that doesnt work out? I'll go finish that degree to be an art teacher! So, basically, I'm setting myself up to be in debt for the rest of my life either way.

I’m really good at

REALLY good at, eh? well, theres things I DO... thats not exactly saying I'm really good at them... but I do like to draw, debate, and come up with elaborate novel/comic book/video game stories and ideas that I NEVER get down on paper. Oh, and apparently I am a professional critic. GO ME!

The first things people usually notice about me

Not really sure... other people seem to like my hair a hell of a lot more than I do. Um... other than that? I do get told I look like Matthew Broderick, does that count? Oh, someone told me the close-up photo of my eye looks like a vagina. imagine that? (random side fact: the eye and the vagina are the only two self-cleaning organs!)

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

First off, let me state that my favorite ANYTHING is something new. I would much prefer a resteraunt, band or movie that I had never experienced over anything tried and true *shrug* I guess I didn't get exposed to enough things durring those high school/college years when I was supposed to

A) Good Omens by Pratchett and Gaiman tops the list, followed by anything else from either author. The Worthing Saga, also any others by Card, Hitchhiker's Guide, America: The Book, R.A. Salvatore, Terry Brooks, and a various comics/manga including Sin City, The Watchemen, Kingdom Come, Fables, Blade of the Immortal, Berserk, Battle Angel Alita, Death Note...ok, if you're not a manga fan, I've lost you. sorry about that.

B) Hero, High Fidelity, History of the World part 1, The World According to Garp, Sin City, Snatch, Lock Stock, Fight Club, Life of Brian, Stranger than Fiction, The Big Labowski, Princess Mononoke, Dark City, Stay, Amelie, The Fall, Hari Kari... as you can see, its all kindof varied

C)Live, Coheed and Cambria, Our Lady Peace, Flogging Molly, Postal Service, Carbon Leaf, Green Day, Blues Traveler, and, well.. the whole early 90's grunge period in general. (theres a ton more, but I think I'd prove my lack of musical knowledge and diversity if I were to list them all)

D) Anything that isn't kosher. I'm a baaaaad Jew. Particular loves include Sushi (I can make it!), a good cheese-steak, and all forms of pasta, with as much garlic as humanly possible.

The six things I could never do without

lets see, how to narrow it down to 6... Social interaction is a good one. computer with intar-wubs would be nice. a good book. something to draw with. cant live without that. My daughters (KITTENS!). and a shower every once in a while is kindof important as well. we'll go with those.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

wanting to be part of what I love about Asheville (the good, artsy part, not the annoying, touristy part). wanting to meet people. What I'm doing to contribute to the world at large. The how-to of transitioning from a broke lazy bastard to a business owner.

On a typical Friday night I am

Trying to convince one or both my roommates to go out somewhere, usually failing, then watching a movie at home. Sometimes I can find a good concert or bar or some other such thing worth doing, but its usually not friday or saturday night. those seem to be tourist nights in asheville, its like being in a graveyard on halloween, only more creepy.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm open about most things... perhaps too much so... so really, theres not much off limits with me, just ask

although I suppose my secret love/fetish for female singer/song-writers would be something (I.E. Regina Spektor, Kate Nash, Liz Phair, Anna Nalick, etc.)... you get the idea

You should message me if

The planets align? Tarot cards said you should? You tossed some bones that spoke of intertwined destinies? God told you to? actually scratch that one, that'd just be weird
