My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Do you ever feel like no matter what you write, it's going to come off cheesy as hell? The older I get the more I realize I need to change the way I do things. So here's a blunt self assessment. I'm sarcastic and outspoken to a fault at times. I tend to think I'm right more often than not, but who doesn't? Most of the time I'm pretty easy going, it takes a lot to change my mood. I work a lot and generally spend my off time with friends or family. It's definitely not unusual for me to go through anti-social phases. I'm actually an extrovert, just a terrible one.

Lately I've been working on living healthier, traveling, and getting outdoors more. I spent a lot of time on the water this summer and it definitely reminded me how much I love it. working with my hands is probably one of my favorite things to do. My career is in IT, so computers are one area I can do that, but I also really enjoy wood-working. I'm thinking about taking a blacksmithing course next.

I'm on here to find something long term, but for now, friends would be nice. Ideally I want someone who makes me want to better myself. I'd like to find a partner. Someone that will go with me to concerts, travel, hang out on the couch and read with me, and call me out on my bullshit. I'm a sucker for strong, intelligent, kind of sassy, women who like dominant men.

Also before you ask, that's not my daughter, it's my niece.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
It took a long time to get here, but I'm one of the weirdos who actually loves his job. I work as a network engineer for a software company and I'm in school, finishing up my bachelors. On my days off I like to read, hang out with friends, go to the movies, play video games, etc.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Reading people. I'm pretty good at understanding how things work, and people aren't that dissimilar.
The first things people usually notice about me

Someone told me recently that everyone on here says "my eyes." Honestly, I have no idea. If you've met me let me know what you noticed first.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Books, movies, wifi, friends/family, bourbon,'s really my main form of communication.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to separate myself from reddit, my growing wanderlust, football, how I can get paid to travel the world, etc.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Generally out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When my mom caught me looking at porn, instead of giving me "the talk," she handed me pamphlets on STDs and masturbation. It was no less awkward, but I didn't turn out too terribly maladjusted.

You like tall, sarcastic guys who will cook for you until you love them, you can dish it out as well as you can take it, you'll let me drag you to the movies.

I also used to work part time at a gun range. If you're ever looking to learn how to shoot just ask; I love teaching people.
