My favorite authors generally tend to do one of the
following:
* Write books against war and while they're at it, against
glaciers.
* Keep us on a perpetual quest searching for the question that
already has the answer; 42.
* Tell is just why, indeed, that god is so very not great.

I am most pleased to say that I think the most recent retelling of
the tale of Sigfried and Broomhilda is a modern masterpiece, an
epic if you will. Also, the dude abides.
