Trying to explain the complexity of who you are as a constantly evolving individual in a few hundred words has always seemed a bit silly but I'll give it a try and see what happens.

Where to start... I'm kind of a dork. =) Not a dress up in armor and fight with fake swords kind of dork, but I like playing video games with my friends, weird/quirky humor, and occasionally watching cartoons. I also like going to the beach, snowboarding, camping, actually I like the outdoors in general.

I also have an awesome(or terrible, depending on your perspective) tendency to go on spontaneous adventures. (11:30 pm on a Wenesday? Quick! Let's go to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles!) Not exactly sure how I developed this particular talent but it keeps life interesting. I guess I'm just a victim of circumstance. :)

I really enjoy intelligent conversation but I spend a lot of time talking about nonsense (if you hadn't already figured that out). I like meeting people who go below the superficial bullshit and talk about something that has actual meaning. I love to travel, I've been to 12 countries and I'll hopefully go to many more. I like to live life to the fullest so I try and experience everything.

Right now I'm going to school and will hopefully transfer to either UCLA or UC Berkley. I'm majoring in Cognitive Science which is basically the study of how humans think, learn, and perceive. It combines a lot of my interest into one major, which works out pretty nicely for me. I'm not entirely sure what I want to do after I graduate but I'm looking into to it.

I'm also writing a web sitcom with a friend. I'm doing it just for fun and I don't really think anything will come out of it but you never know.

Making people laugh. Talking. Thinking. Eating cupcakes.

I have a wide range on just about all of the above.

Books: I like Thriller, Fantasy, Sci-Fi and Mystery books. I also read a lot of nonfiction. Someone of my favorite authors are, J.R.R. Tolkien, Tucker Max, Frank Herbert, and David Sedaris. Right now I'm reading Happy Hour is for Amateurs by Philadelphia Lawyer, its about the authors life as a lawyer and the crazy drug-fueled excapades he went on to cope with the boredom and irritation of his job. It sounds depressing but it's actually rather funny and insightful.

Movies: I'll watch just about anything, (although Horror films have been know to make me scream like a 12 year old girl). Some of my favorites are American Beauty, Casino, The Big Lebowski, Plup Fiction, Snatch, Superbad, and Old School.

Music: I listen a lot of different types of music. Like a real lot. People like me are the reason they still make the 160 gig iPods. It would be practically impossible for me to narrow down my favorite band. I listen to just about anything; from Rock to Hip-Hop to Jazz to Punk and everything in between (although I tend to shy away from country). I love live music, I've seen at least 40 bands in concert.

Food: I love Italian, Chinese, Korean BBQ, Hambergers, Sushi... Actually when it comes to food I love just about everything. I have a particular soft spot for cupcakes though.

TV: I know it's not a section but if you're a big fan of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Californication or 30 Rock then we'll probably get along. :)
