I am a singer, a writer, and a wild thing.

My Self-Summary

I'm a New York City local born and raised in downtown Chelsea who loves to write, sing, and go out to party. I've got a sarcastic wit that makes me come off as charmingly endearing to those that can appreciate the joviality. To those that don't like joking around, I've been told I can come off as an asshole. Honestly though-if you can't mess around and have fun in life, well, then life's gonna feel a lot longer than you'd like it to.

What I’m doing with my life

I just got my Master's in Economics and Finance in May and I'm currently employed for a law firm that practices antitrust and securities law. I look into markets where they suspect businesses are price-fixing or exerting monopoly power illegally and help them prove it. Essentially, I get to be a detective and help lead investigations against the big, bad corporations that are making people pay too much for their goods and services.

I’m really good at

Singing, sarcasm, and soliloquies.

The first things people usually notice about me

I don't know, I've never asked that question-probably that I'm kinda tall.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Authors: Piers Anthony, Jim Butcher, Orson Scott Card.

Movies: (500) Days of Summer, The 40 Year-Old Virgin, Batman: The Dark Knight, Dexter, The Fifth Element, Fight Club, Grease, The Hangover, The Lord of the Rings, The Matrix, Memento, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Prestige, The Princess Bride, The Rock, Scrubs, Serendipity, Star Wars, Top Gun, The Wackness, Wedding Crashers, When Harry Met Sally

Music: 30 Seconds To Mars, Akon, Blink 182, Boston, Cartel, Finch, Goo Goo Dolls, Incubus, Jack's Mannequin, Journey, The Killers, Linkin Park, Lost Prophets, The Matches, Owl City, Punchline, Reel Big Fish, Saosin, T.I., Taking Back Sunday, Third Eye Blind

Food: Chinese, Italian

The six things I could never do without

There's a lot that I "could never do without," so I'm going to do the six songs I could never do without instead.

Boston, "More Than A Feeling"
Jimmy Eat World, "The Sweetness"
The Killers, "When You Were Young"
T.I., "What You Know"
Underoath, "Reinventing Your Exit"
Yellowcard, "Way Away"

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Music; my writing; how good fresh blueberries taste; how amazing Dexter Morgan is.

On a typical Friday night I am

Is there such a thing as a typical Friday night? Though I'd hate to categorize the start of my weekend as something "typical," traditionally they involve drinking, going out, or both, but have been known to involve reruns and poker cards.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I have a scarily impressive falsetto voice.
