My self-summary
Are you the kind of girl who "loves to laugh"? Well, good. Maybe I can help with that. If not...then I'm gonna find ways to make you laugh regardless. Promise.

I just moved to Seattle last fall. I went to school down in Tacoma, but left the area after graduating a few years back. I'm glad to finally return to the sunny Pacific Northwest! (Sigh.) (Actually, it's beautiful here year-round, that's why I like it.)

Things I love: Theatre. Movies. Listening to music. Food and the cooking thereof. Talking. Joking around. Bar trivia.
What I’m doing with my life
I like to be involved with my local theatre and comedy scene--auditions, classes, seeing shows, you name it. I recently joined a sketch comedy troupe! I'm also working on my own show, which riffs on Breaking Bad.

As for the day job, up until recently I was working as a barista (like the stereotype that I am). I am currently transitioning into a brand new job in a brand new field...I'll tell you what it's like once it actually gets going.
I’m really good at
-Growling like a Wookiee, and other half-decent celebrity impressions
-making mixtapes (or whatever kids call it nowadays)
-not using hashtags in everyday conversation
-having trivial knowledge about a wide variety of topics, especially in music and movies (One of my favorite quotes is from Calvin and Hobbes: "I'm not dumb. I just have a command of thoroughly useless information.")
The first things people usually notice about me
Too many people have told me I either look like Robert Pattinson/Edward Cullen (I'm afraid I don't ~*sparkle*~ quite as much) or Hugh Jackman.

You can also find me by listening for my stupid laugh. You'll know. Ohh, you'll know.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Ender's Game, World War Z, Harry Potter, Into The Wild

Movies: Fight Club, Star Wars, Back To The Future, The Departed

Shows: Lost, Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Game of Thrones

Music: Broken Social Scene, The Walkmen, Tycho, Explosions in the Sky

Food: Burgers, Pizza, Burritos, Sandwiches

(As a general note, all of these "favorites" were difficult to pick. If there's a book/movie/show/artist/food you think I might like, just ask!)
The six things I could never do without
1. Cards Against Humanity
2. A radio/mp3 player/thing that makes noise
3. A (bad) joke
4. A friend to talk to
5. A cup of coffee
6. Chapstick (it's an addiction)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Critiquing movies/plays/comedy acts, the world at large, filling out OKCupid profiles, and my next pun.
On a typical Friday night I am
Seeing some live theatre. I'm usually down to see some sketch or improv comedy. Laughter and alcohol go together like peanut butter and...jelly? Chocolate? More peanut butter? I can't decide.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Coldplay is my guilty pleasure--the old albums, mostly; haven't listened to much of the new stuff.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 21–29
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
-you're thinking about seeing a show, but you don't know who to go with. Me! Pick me!

-you want to get a cup of coffee, because I'm pretty much ALWAYS down for a cup of coffee.

-you want to go for a walk. I like walks. I'm a walking cliche for liking walks. Hiking is also cool! I really want to check out the trails that the Puget Sound region has to offer.

-you listen to KEXP and envy everyone who works there. My roommate does, and I hate him for it. (But not really.)

-you want to. Come ooonnn, you know you want to...
