I'm a guy with an original and active mind --- verbal, intense, and self-aware, but also friendly and sociable. I'm seeking another guy whose face is animated by a lively intelligent spirit. He’ll hopefully have a supple mind (and body to match) and enjoy the making and sharing of good food, great music, and stimulating conversation.
Yes, I can turn off the brain, under the right conditions (wink), but ultimately, ya can't have one without the other. Besides, the brain is the ultimate sex organ! No? Oh well...
Here’s THE LIST: 1) decent build, 2) masculine appearance and personality, yet not afraid to be seen in public with another guy, 3) non-smoker, 4) able and willing to think 'outside of the box', and 5) very sociable, e. g. comfortable meeting new people and good at maintaining friendships.
If you think love is convenient or guys can be ordered up like a pizza, call Domino's. I think they still deliver. Aladdin has a source (erer) you could try. On the other hand, if you can't find 'my kind' where YOU are, let's say 'hi'. I'm real and motivated, and it's important that you be too. Peace!
OTHER STUFF:
FUN: My joy is hosting monthly house concerts with a pot luck dinner, a sort of informal 'salon'. Bringing audiences and artists together has become my calling. I also like meeting new people!
THINGS TO DO: Grounds for Sculpture, art cinema house in Montgomery, Lambertville/New Hope meanderings, Spicey chicken with eggplant at Tiger Noodle. Notice these arn't in NYC. Neither am I. - Oh! Lions and tigers and bears! Oh my! Oops, that's trains and buses and cars, Oh my! (Yes, I live in PRINCETON: Just 1 hr and no car ride from Penn Station.)
JOB: Technical writer by day, budding impresario... bringing audiences and artists together is a big part of my life!
THE PHOTO: It's OK to like the pics, we're guys after all. But if you don't respond to the person as expressed in my written profile, we may not have much in common. That would be disappointing for both of us. OK?
RELIGION: Tolerance is my religion. Libertarian are my views and attitudes. Born Jewish, and still like a good pastrami on rye! Alas, I can no longer eat rye bread, so I bring polenta and other wheat-free dishes to my seders and pot luck dinners!
MY EDUCATION: a lot, but still learning...
FAVORITES: Conversation with both a theme and a direction. Could be just about any topic: Psychology, politics, philosophy, medicine, film, music, the creative process, etc.
LAST READ: Way too many profiles that sound one like the other. Actually I read constantly, but mostly non-fiction. I generally respond well to reading suggestions that might provide insight into your interests and character.
PETS: Not taking your dog's affection for granted is a good model for a potential future relationship, don't you think?
