My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I can be shy around new people, and the time it takes me to come out of my shell depends on the atmosphere. If I'm at a party and don't know anyone there, it may take me a while before i warm over. If I'm comfortable, I can be quite the social person.

I just got my B.S. in Chemistry from MSU

I am caring, quirky, and loveable
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working, fencing on the weekends. Video games and reading. Spending too much time on my computer or phone.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a pretty good fencer; I'm on the men's Épée travel team. I am also the king of puns, it's pretty bad.
The first things people usually notice about me

I suppose it would be a combination of my glasses, height, somewhat poor posture (I tend to hunch at times), or whatever I may be wearing. I'm not too sure, really. As i mentioned earlier, I can be a bit shy at first meetings, so some people may think I'm really quiet. Unless I'm very outwardly jubilant, I usually have a pretty neutral facial expression, which I think others may perceive as an angry face or something (bitchy resting face). So I try to express my calm neutrality with my eyebrows and/or a slight smile.

I've been reading a bunch of Lovecraft as of late. Hit me up if you want to discuss chthonic abominations and unknowable horrors from beyond the stars.

I recently finished Frank Herbert's Dune and I now understand all the hype! It started off slow, but after the Harkonnen sabotage I couldn't put it down. I thought the Lynch film adaptation was...fair...Shoot me a message if you'd like to hear my reasoning.

I'm a big Stephen King fan, though I haven't read many of his more recent books. I have a rather large collection of his works, including several first edition hardcovers. I really enjoyed the Dark Tower series, and will most likely re-read it in the future. Insomnia was also another favorite.

As far as movies go, I have a ton of favorites. It will take way too much time to list them, so if you are curious, shoot me a message.

I'm pretty hard to pin down when it comes to musical genres. I'm a big Prince fan, and have most of his work from '78 to '95. I've seen/own/enjoy Purple Rain, Under the Cherry Moon, and Graffiti Bridge. If you aren't so keen on His Royal Badness, worry not, I listen to other stuff too. This includes: Barry White, Bob Dylan, Capsule, Daft Punk, David Bowie, Eagles of Death Metal, Electric Six, Elton John, Flight of the Conchords, Funkadelic, Gwar, Hall and Oates, Huey Lewis & The News, Infected Mushroom, Kraak and Smaak, Kyuss, Massive Attack, Men at Work, Ministry of Sound, Mustard Plug, Nirvana, The Offspring, Oingo Boingo, Parliament, The Police, Polysics, Queens of the Stone Age, Reggie and the Full Effect, Rick Astley, (I'm serious), Royksopp (Melody AM is one of my favorite albums of all time, times infinity), The Strokes, Sphongle, Talamasca, The B-52's, Ween, ZZ Top. I use (internet radio) to jam to goa-psy trance and funky house music.

I've been getting more into 80's and 90's hip-hop and rap thanks to XM radio in my car. I also listen to a lot of funk, alt rock, edm, and trance.

This is by no means the end of my musical tastes, so if you would like to know if we both enjoy another musician/group, inquire within...
