I'm inquisitive, adventurous, down to earth and have a calm disposition. Easy going, curious, enjoy adventures and try to make the best of all situations, come rain or shine (literally and figuratively). I truly love the Great Outdoors and am humbled by their beauty. I am a passionate traveler. Cultures and history fascinate me and I try to make the most of both when abroad as it makes for a rounded experience (food, drink, the arts). I cook but am no Escoffier, that's for sure! I don't have a dog, though I dearly love them; if I had one, I'd treat it as a family member. I'm big on hiking and walking in general and like to include it in my globetrotting. Sport-wise, I'm a windsurfing enthusiast and only wish I could indulge in it year round!

TV:? Nah, I kicked that habit (...and replaced it with online viewing!) TVO & PBS were great but all those sitcoms and "reality" crap suck the spirit out of you. Reality should be lived not watched...

Music: Anything really! Usually Classic Rock, Heavy Metal, Industrial, Darkwave, Techno, Electronica, Blues, Bluegrass, Classical....bring it on!

Food: Anything. I take pleasure in all sorts of culinary adventures, from the safe, tried and scrumptious to the unknown, bizarre and challenging; if I haven't tried it I'm curious about it. I've tried a few oddities including corn mold (huitlacoche), Olomoucké syrečky, a whole durian, hakaral and yes, Brussels sprout too; they're actually quite nice (if you know how to cook 'em, they're delicious ; )
But rest assured, I appreciate the finer dishes as well, and can cook up a few myself!
