My self-summary Propose an edit

Hello boys. I thought it was time to update this thing so I just erased it all and am going to start over. A few important things about me; I love my family, my mom is very important to me. Though she can drive me crazy like no one else in the world sometimes :) I love animals, almost to a fault...if I could bring home every cute little furry faced creature I find, I would.

I'm kind of at an impasse as to what I'm going to do with my life at the moment. See, I just got my dream job handed to me; problem is, it's only a five month contract. So once these five months are up, that's it. However, after spending one month at this job, I can't imagine ever going back to doing anything else. I'd been in school for *years* to be a teacher but there's no way I could spend my life in a classroom. Not after this amazing summer. So. I guess I'm going to have to figure out a way to stay in a theatre forever :)

I don't drink. I can't even remember the last time I had a drink like out at dinner. I just never do it. I don't mind if you drink...as long as getting drunk isn't one of your favorite leisure activities. I also don't go to bars and I've only ever been out to clubs once in my life; for my best friends 21st birthday party. It's just not what I'm into.

I don't do one night stands. I never have and I won't be starting with you.

I'm really ready for a relationship. I've been single for....a little over 2 years now and I'm ready for something serious. Not to say I'm 'one of those girls' who just has marriage and that on the brain but I'm done playing games. I'm over that and I'm ready for something real.

Ok, now for some things about the type of guy I like:

I find so many different things attractive in men. I think the totally metrosexual men are smokin hot but I also love a guy with a farmers tan wearing a cowboy hat and boots.

A man who smells good will always get a second look from me out in public.

Tall men are a huge turn on. If I look at your picture and think you're kinda cute then find out you're like 6'1 or 6'2 you become really hot.

I want someone who knows what he wants in life and is adamant about getting it.

I'm really attracted to intelligence. I think geeks are totally hot.

I love to travel. Anywhere. For any reason. I love road trips and all greasy diners and hotels that go along with it. I really, really love hotels. I just think they're fun. I recently went on a short road trip and stayed in a kind of crap Red Roof Inn...had a blast :P

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I am currently loving my life. I just got hired for a five month contract at a local theatre here in Kirkwood MO...Stages St. Louis, anyone heard of it? Basically I'm pushing around big heavy pieces of scenery and loving every second of it. I'm hoping to be hired there full time at the end of my contract or find another theatre job because I realize now that I honestly can't live without this in my life.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

Books:

The Harry Potter series. I just finished the last book...definitely send me a message if you want to talk about that :) I also really love the Twilight books by Stephenie Meyers

I usually enjoy horror books. Some favorite authors include (but are not limited to): Bentley Little and Richard Laymon with a little Dean Koontz and Stephen King thrown in for good measure.

I also have a soft spot for the entire young adult book genre. LJ Smith is one of my all time favorite authors. Everything she writes is pure literary gold.

Movies:

Horror is my very favorite movie genre. For me to dislike a horror movie...boy does it ever have to be bad. I think the scariest movie ever made was The Ring. Some recent favorites are The Mist, The Happening, I Am Legend. Less recent favorites include IT, Jeepers Creepers, Joy Ride, Rest Stop.

I also love the Harry Potter movies. All of them. Though the last one on principle alone because I feel that too much was left out of the movie. I like 'chick flicks' as well. The Notebook and Bridges of Madison County are two of the best ever. The Notebook is guaranteed to have me crying every single time.

Music:

I'll listen to just about anything but I especially love soundtracks. Movie soundtracks, Broadway soundtracks, TV show soundtracks...don't know why. I also love country. I really do. It would be nice to find a guy who doesn't hate it!

Food:

I'm kind of picky but I'll usually try everything once. Though when I go to restaurants I generally get the same thing every time. That's not to say I won't steal a bite of something new and interesting off your plate...hope you don't mind ^_^

I particularly love good Chinese, good pasta, good seafood and of course the all American stuff; burgers, fries, stuff like that. Ooh I also love Mexican sometimes. But I have to be in the mood for it.

TV: Even though the box doesn't ask for it, though I think it should. All time favorite TV show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer followed very closely by The OC. I also loved Queer as Folk, Friends, Roseanne, Gilmore Girls. Huge fan of reality TV especially the 'romance' shows such as The Bachelor and sillier ones like Farmer Wants a Wife :P I watch the Simpsons, King of the Hill and Family Guy almost daily.
