My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I used to live in Brooklyn, NYC and moved to northern NJ when I was 12. I learned to love tinkering, building, and writing from my father.

Writing and fixing computers are solitary adventures. These things don't allow me to meet many people so now I'm trying to change that.

My old-school okc 3 word line was:
I am loyal, misspelling words, and sleeping
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Technically, I’m an entrepreneur. I run two small businesses. One is sub-contract computer repair (pays the bills) and the other is a publishing house that prints and distributes my work. (makes the bills)

Just started getting into better shape to keep up with my tough mudder friends. Started the insanity workout. OH GOD I CAN'T EVEN MOVE RIGHT NOW.

I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Mechanical things. working on cars and my bike, building things, working with my hands and, oddly, writing.

Not taking myself too seriously, I have a knack to make people laugh. Mostly through wit but sometimes self-deprecation. Hey, whatever works. The world is too serious to take it seriously.

Also, Drag racing. I won a few trophies from it.

I can fix the hell out of your computer
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
"What the hell song is this playing in your car?"

"You are the best rock band frontman i've ever seen." (it isn't about lyric accuracy. it is about giving the audience a show.)
The other night I got "Dude, you should start a cover band."

I brew beer but don't drink it.

One of my strengths is the ability to genuinely enjoy a wide variety of things.

tv: daily show, colbert report, mst3k, scrubs, simpsons, the wire, st:tng, the '60s mission:impossible, Game of thrones

music: anything from clutch to gwar to icp to stan ridgway to the marsalis brothers to nick cave, wu-tang, judas priest, rammstein, beastie boys and everything in-between.

books: Douglas Adams, hound of the baskervilles. Do tech/programming manuals count?

movies: Dark city, evil dead 2, army of darkness, gangs of new york, mad max 2, airplane, the cube, pi, glory. Anything with a heroic sacrifice. It gets me every time.

food: everything. My friends describe me as having a hollow leg. also, I have a sweet tooth and think peeps are awesome.

games: I'm part of the glorious pc gaming master race. Not that I'm actively anti-console or anything, what I like just shifted over time. Also I love board games. "Whose got wood for sheep?"
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) A computer and internet access
2) My car
3) My editor
4) My family
5) Different varieties of food.
6) Sleep.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to improve my writing. What makes for good drama, good characters, good stories, etc.

How to get my work out there, how to make the break through, how to market etc etc.

On a more general note, what I can do to make the world around me just a little bit better.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Not watching pro sports. I used to follow baseball but gave it up many years ago when my favorite player free-agented to some other team. The players aren't loyal to a team, the team isn't loyal to the city, so all you are cheering for is a uniform. Boy, what a downer. However, I enjoy going to any sport games even if i don't follow it religiously.

But I do like supporting my local derby girls. You can find me at their games. (psycho78s, morristown, garden state)

Also, I am typically hanging out with friends or just staying in. All is well when all is well. I'm not much of a bar person but I'll go with my friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I'm very sleep sensitive. I am a nighthawk and hate the AM but I always need my 8 hours. If I was up till 4am you can believe the only way I'm getting up before noon is if my bed is on fire.

I once got beat at tic-tac-toe by a chicken in a chinatown arcade. At that moment I knew we were destined to be arch-enemies.

I memorized and practiced "momma said knock you out" so I could bring down the house at karaoke.

Also, if I had a castle, you could go anywhere you wished. Except the West Wing.
