My self-summary
Hello, I'm Milandon.

I like to be easy going, and I think I have a good sense of humor. I find laughter can really change someone's attitude or mood, and so I always try to find the humor in most situations.

I enjoy intellectual discourse, reading, games, biking, swimming, scuba diving, and basically whatever else holds my interest. I also maintain a decent list of various intellectual pursuits, the majority of which will put you to sleep if I expound on them (unless you are a techie or infosec geek, in which case let me know!).

I like to be very open minded, and as long as discourse is expressed in a civil fashion, I love to argue or defend my points (Although arguing for the sake of arguing gets tiring really quickly.).

I've also found that I enjoy art. Well, not so much the art itself but rather how people look at, react to, and just overall view a performance or a piece of art. I am attempting to learn more about people, insofar that I have started focusing more on facial expressions and reactions to certain situations. I guess that makes me a form of "people watcher"!
What I’m doing with my life
I've graduated with a BS in Network Engineering. I am currently working at my university doing Information security, particularly malware analysis and PCI-DSS (google it, it's kinda boring).

Another, smaller company that focuses more on what I want and has a lot of contacts in my industry is "courting" me for a part-time job during my "off hours". I am doing this for the experience and challenge as well as the potential to further my career.
I’m really good at
Breaking Things.
Yelling at Things that Broke.
Fixing Things that Broke.
Analytical Thinking.
Troubleshooting.
Procrastinating.

(one of the things you will NEVER see on this list is "making lists about my personality and/or my life")
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told I look a bit like Adam Sandler when I'm smiling or laughing...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Everything I came up with for this section ended up being paragraphs long. I will try and be as brief as possible, but that doesn't mean I won't expound on something here or in other areas of my profile.

Books: I like Fiction, namely Science Fiction (geeky, yea it probably is) because of the ability that may of these writers posses to explain abstract, esoteric, and wholly different concepts to a reader. I think sci-fi books are instrumental in expanding your views and thoughts on many subjects. Although I feel that no matter how good a sci-fi book is, I always sound like an idiot explaining it.

Movies: Action, adventure, humor, the usual. I like cheese movies, older movies, and basically anything with a decent plot.

I base my enjoyment of media on the story, plot, character development, etc etc so I don't mind watching plays or musicals, reading books, or even poetry if I think the author is good.
The six things I could never do without
-The internet (and everything it brings to me, like literature, other people's opinions, etc etc)
-Friends
-Fuzzy/Friendly Animals (seriously, what is a better stress reliever?)
-Many things to hold my interest
-Variety
-A Challenge
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Anything and everything that can hold my interest. I like to try and determine how something was built, or why it was built. How something originated, why things happen, why did someone do something a certain way, what I would say in certain situations. What happened in the past to spark certain events.
Where humanity is going, whats going to happen later on etc etc.
The list goes on and on.
On a typical Friday night I am
It depends. I normally enjoy spending time with friends. If I am not feeling that social I will watch a movie, read a book, or mess around with some piece of tech on those occasions.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I should probably come with a manual. Or at least a warning and liability waiver.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–25
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You are looking for someone who wants to learn about you, spend time with you in most capacities and makes the occasional (and sometimes cheesy) romantic gesture.
