Grew up in Michigan, moving to North Carolina to attend grad school
at ECU. Avid reader. Music listener. Film watcher. Culture freak.
What I’m doing with my life
Going to grad school for Creative Writing at East Carolina
University with the intentions of one day teaching at the
collegiate level and perfecting the art and craft of fiction
I’m really good at
830 different things half the time. Naming all the countries in
Africa (cause it's not a country). Reading a novel a week.
Accumulating music and filing the influences in my brain.
Memorizing useless sports statistics. Researching literary
movements in contemporary American literature. Meh.
The first things people usually notice about me
Who's to say? I don't wear shirts that have words, so people can't
get a good read on me at first. I guess they notice my eyes (which
change color according to how much green or blue I'm wearing), my
jovial sense of humor, and my enjoyment of the arts during

The six things I could never do without
books, sports, live music, erasers, films, I.P.A.'s, but the list
may change by the hour on the hour, for whatever it's worth.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The inner-dialogue in the webbing of my brain; how many cups of
coffee I should drink throughout the day; that I never want to pay
back my student loans; which album is the soundtrack for the day's
atmosphere; who and what I should read next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably out at the bar breaking my sobriety pact from Monday
If not, watching a movie, reading a book or watching whatever
sporting event that catches my interest (a drink is usually
included in these 'cause, y'know . . . )
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm on OkCupid.
You should message me if
you read, listen to music, and like movies
you don't read celebrity gossip
