New university grad. Love movies, TV, hockey. I have some nerdy ass hobbies, and I'll probably tell you way too much about them if you ask. I go to the gym, hopefully even more frequently now that school's done.

Just graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and just starting my new job. Probably means I'll be spending a lot of time working for the next few months. Boooo.

I dunno. Math? Spending a long time in school learning a bunch of stuff that is hardly relevant to the job it qualified me for. Knowing random movie trivia. Same goes for TV shows. I'm great at cooking, provided the recipe involves my wallet and someone else making the food. Unless there's a barbecue involved. I can barbecue the shit out of anything.

I'm pretty tall, I guess. That would probably be it, but I've never asked anyone.

Books... I do love reading, but school has really taken that free time away from me. I enjoy the Game of Thrones series (the ones that just got turned into an HBO series), and Douglas Coupland. I liked East of Eden by Steinbeck when I read it, and Ender's Game, 1984.

As for movies, and TV... Too many to count. It's gotten to the point where I really struggle to find decent movies I haven't watched, that I still have an interest in seeing. As for TV, I've seen every sci-fi series you can think of, and I'm in the midst of the Wire, and I still have to get through the Sopranos, too.

Musically, I'm pretty open. I hate country, and I generally can't stand techno or technoderivatives. You know, the million subgenres that only matter to hardcore lovers. Dubstep is pretty sick, though. Guess I'm starting to warm up to some of it... I like bands like Rush, Oasis, August Burns Red, For Higher Ground, RHCP, The Black Keys, and some artists like Eminem, Lupe Fiasco, and Immortal Technique. I tend to like songs or albums more than artists as a whole.

Why Superman sucks. What would make a cool scene in a movie. Why the hell do people cast Michelle Rodriguez in movies? How do some people always know how to identify just what that certain weird taste is in food? My life, my job, my bills, and money. And the fact that being an adult and living on your own is fuckin' lame, but awesome.

Out with friends, doing whatever. Could be drinking, or seeing a movie, or being retarded and playing cards or games or just driving around.
