Sorry if it says I answer selectively. I don't answer messages from random people in foreign lands that write messages that sound like a bad spam email. Oops. My bad.
I'm New England born and bred but took a 2 year hiatus living in Buffalo recently. Graduated with a Biology degree (read: I'm a nerd) but went to grad school to study higher ed and all the fun stuff that comes along with working with college folks. That's what brought me out to Buffalo, the land of chicken wings and the Bills (unfortunately).
Now I'm back, living in Boston, and finally discovering this whole work-life balance thing. I've got a side hustle as a photographer and avid concert goer.
I'm also trying to plan the most epic road trip. A life goal is to drive all of I90. Ride or die on the Pike.
What I’m doing with my life
Working at a college in Boston making sure students are developing and having fun at the same time. I also have a side gig of writing for a music magazine and going to way too many concerts.
I'm basically a professional college student. It's a lot more complex than it sounds.
Also working on coming up with insane reasons to travel everywhere.
I’m really good at
Playing the clarinet, drawing the chemical structures in your
shampoo bottle, and anything related to summer camp.
I once was really good at singing a song about the periodic table.
I have sadly lost that talent over the years.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair. It's pretty fantastical.

Shows: Bones, House, M*A*S*H, Grey's Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Glee, Private Practice, Chicago Fire, Third Watch & ER back in the day, American Pickers, Pawn Stars, Parking Wars

The six things I could never do without
2. A blanket
3. My car Clifford
5. Family & Friends (to me they're one)
6. 3 wishes
I spend a lot of time thinking about
When I'll get out to California next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sometimes working. Most of the time relaxing after a hectic week
either with some coworkers and just hanging around in the peace and
quiet of my apartment. My line of work tends to be pretty
high-strung, so whenever I can just chill out, I do.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a fear of thunder and lightning.
You should message me if
You enjoy a good dose of sarcasm. Can get where I'm coming from.
Don't mind a real conversation. And if you don't mind spending a
night in and just hanging out every once and a while.
Oh, and if you read this far, congratulations! I owe you a high
