I teach writing at an afterschool writing program. And, I am currently battling the bureaucracy of turning my California Teaching Credential into a Washington State Teaching Credential.

I brew particularly good beer with my friends. I try to find the humorous side of everything; else I would weep at the state of the world. This results in sometimes inappropriate laughter which confuses people on occasion.

If I’m naked, they would notice my enormous feet. And yes, ladies, it is true what they say about the size of a man’s feet being directly proportional to the size of his shoes. Trust me, my shoes fit exceptionally well.

If I’m walking into a room fully clothed, one would likely notice that I tower over most other people in the room. At 6’3”, I have a tendency to quite literally look down on people. One could argue that this has only increased my arrogance. However, I feel this has probably kept my ass from getting jumped a few times.

I’d also like to think that people would notice my extraordinary hairline.

Best book ever written: A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole. If you have read this and loved it, we need to meet. Also, anything by Vonnegut or Bradbury. There's a special place in my heart for One Flew Over the Cu-coo's Nest. Story of O had some moments. I finally finished the last Jordan book.

I’ve been on a bit of a world apocalypse trip lately, so been getting into Walking Dead after having watched Survivors. Still, though, I stick to my roots of Seinfeld and Firefly.
