My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name's Brian. I am a systems engineer at a local tech company, and as you might guess from that job title, I'm kind of geeky.

I do also like a bunch of non-geeky things like cooking/baking (I make some delicious baked Mostaccioli), biking (I absolutely love biking when it is warm out. I put an earbud in one ear and listen to music as I ride.), writing, sand volleyball, and even dancing (I was in the Latin Dance Club at Mizzou for a semester).

I LOVE traveling. In HS, I went on a school trip to France for two weeks and it was pretty awesome. I lived in Seattle for two years, where it is green and gorgeous year-round. I spent a summer in Japan studying between my sophomore and junior years of college at Mizzou and it was hands-down the best summer of my life. Japan is absolutely gorgeous and the people are generally super nice and polite. I've vacationed in FLA, CA, and Mexico, and the next place that I want to go is a place that I've wanted to go since I was a little kid: Ireland. It is so beautiful and I would love to go and bike/drive through the countryside and up and down the coast.

I'm very much a cat person. I think they're the most adorable little murderers on the planet, and I love how independent and imperious they are. I don't actually dislike well-behaved dogs, but I'm allergic to them to the point that I'm miserable if I spend much time around them.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I went to college at a computer programming school in Seattle for two years before coming back to Missouri where I completed a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and a Minor in English Writing. Not the most practical education, I'll admit, but it was one that I enjoyed, and I think I'm a better person for having gone through it. After going through some training, I started a job in the tech industry about a year ago. I'm working as a Systems Engineer for a company in STL.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at most games, be they board games, card games or computer/console games (a notable exception is real-time strategy games, which I'm TERRIBLE at). I think from a technical standpoint, I am an extremely talented writer, and from a story/character perspective, I am occasionally inspired. If you'd like to read something I've written, just ask and I will be happy to share a poem or short story.

Probably my height or my build. I'm pretty tall, about 6'2", and until the past couple years, I didn't have any fat on me. Now I have a thin ring around my stomach that I'm trying to lose.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The impending zombie apocalypse, story ideas that I don't have time to actually write, and how much it sucks to be single and I should try harder to date.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I don't have a clue how to flirt. The whole process kind of confuses me. If I didn't think we had enough in common to have fun together, I wouldn't have messaged you. If I didn't think you were sexy, I wouldn't have messaged you. So why do we need to go through some awkward flirting before we start getting to know each other better? Can't we just skip that and talk? Or skip it and have sex. Or skip it and do literally anything other than flirting?

You want to have some fun that doesn't involve getting drunk. I'm game for pretty much anything, be it something tame like sitting down to play a board game or going to see a movie, or something more adventurous like going rock climbing or cliff diving (the highest I've actually done in either case is 15-20ft, but I enjoyed both quite a bit).
