My self-summary
The new: my life is consumed with baby related things.

Like most humans, I think I'm a bunch of layers.
I often think we're all just a bunch of walking contradictions..
As a result, I do what I can to keep my layers balanced and consistent.. (not always successful).

I vastly prefer to get to know someone in person. As social creatures, so much of our intricate nature is lost and distorted when squeezed though the tubes of the interweb.

So, you can read the rest of MY interests... and if that's enough to spark YOUR interest.. let me know..
We can talk a little, then meet and ACTUALY get to know each other.
What I’m doing with my life
Taking care of my little dude.
Playing video games with any remaining free time.
I’m really good at
Using things for purposes they were not originally intended for.
For instance, I use a hammock for a tablecloth and it looks F*ing amazing in my living room. (see pic for example)
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm told my grin makes quite the impression.

My eyes are what most people probably notice first (if I'm not grinning apparently). I'm told my eyes are very pretty and even more expressive.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
the Dune Series.
The Wheel of Time series
The Hunchback of Notre Dame (if you liked the Disney version, shame on you)
I have read (in english translation) parts of, many of the worlds religious books. IE; the king James Bible, the Koran, the Tao De Ching, Confucian Texts, ect.
I have read a few books on self help, and on the less accepted "sciences" such as Chackras, Auras, Telepathy and such.
I have assuredly read other stuff that I don't' remember the name of.
don't read much anymore. What I do read is usually science articles or other current news type things. I read parts of the paper most days.

Alien AND predator Series of movies.
Event Horizon, Matrix, True Lies, Waking Life, Serendipity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Pans Labyrinth, Let me In, Nightmare Before Christmas,Waking Life,...
If you saw Will Ferrell in Stranger Than Fiction and thought it was actually really awesome, then I already love you.

I'll start by saying, i don't pay for cable. all my tv comes from the internets. and i'm always behind on seasons, so don't spoil it for me =P
Dexter, True Blood, Heroes (season one and two only), Spongebob squarepants, Samuri Jack, Dexters Labratory, Powerpuff Girls, The adventures of billy and mandy, Trigun, Transformers (Beastwars), Reboot, Fraggle Rock, Sailer Moon, Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis, All Star Trek except for original, Mythbusters, pretty much anything on the history channel or discovery channel,...
and in a league all its own...
with Finn and Jake

metallica, rob zombie, Dr.Dre, snoop, 50cent (i know he isn't great but i love it anyway).. OH and They Might Be Giants, and Mr.Jackson, and anything else that's just plain good. Nothing wrong with some classical Beethoven for instance, or even Tuvan throat singing. I don't have the patience to dig for music on line.. don't have any desire to pay for music, the radio in the car is about all the music exposure i get these days. It just isn't as important to me as it is to some. My psyche is self sustaining. But god damn do I love to feel a good beat as much as the next guy. I really like dance club type stuff even though i have never been to a dance club and would probably hate it if I did.

Food?.. I have a simple palette. steak and potatoes..
I prefer my vegetables raw.
Meat is the best, pasta is a close second.
I would enjoy a much larger variety of foods I'm sure, if only someone would cook the meals for me and place them in front of me, free of charge....
The six things I could never do without
diet coke
my wife (Left4Jenga)
my computer (electricity in general)
time to relax

In an effort to be even more realistic.. I COULD live without almost everything, it just wouldn't be much fun. Other than the physical requirements for living, the only thing I feel I really wouldn't be able to live without, is my wife. seriously.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
All the usual boy stuff of course.
I think a good deal about my life and all the different aspects of it. I think about the different games I play all the time. I try to live as much in the moment as is reasonable.
On a typical Friday night I am
games online or dinner with the friends. Maybe a board game. Maybe just sitting around the house playing with the cat.
Or maybe even a date! Yay!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have an open relationship..
Some times we call it poly, sometimes not. We may not always know what to call it, but we like it.

know that's not much. BUT on the other hand, if we get to know each other a bit, I quickly become an open book often times sharing information you may not have wanted to know about me.
You should message me if
you're interested in me, or the things I have said.
you're not intimidated by the fact that I already have a wife.
You're interested in "dating" or otherwise "seeing" me.

You're interested in making a new friend.
Love board games and D&D.
want to come to a game night.

PS. I almost never send out messages first. I know that all you females on okc get inundated with messages from people you probably aren't interested in. I would rather not add to it..
So, if you are interested, please don't hesitate to be the one to send that first hello.
