I can't really see accurately summarizing myself within a text box. I'm more somebody you'd have to actually meet to get a feel for. But even then I don't know if you really would. I'll start by saying I'm nice... too nice... like gets-me-nowhere nice. Have you ever brought home a total dick to your parents and had them sit you down and ask why you couldn't just date that nice guy down the street? Yeah, I'm THAT guy. Well, I used to be, now I'm kind of a sarcastic cynic with a morbid sense of humor... but a good mixture of the two.

I love music, (ground breaking, I know). I found my first guitar in a dumpster when I was 12 and have been pretty obsessed ever since. There’s something extremely gratifying about being able to create the kind of music you like. I like playing and giving lessons, but I also love listening to music and discovering new bands. I’m pretty much a rock freak. Everything from the Goo Goo Dolls and Gin Blossoms to Dark Tranquility and Dimmu Borgir.

I’m also a huge stand-up comedy buff. I’m always trying to make people laugh, so I guess it kind of fits my personality. Some of my favs are Louis C.K., Todd Barry, George Carlin, Jim Norton, and John Mulaney. Youtube em, it’s worth it.

Random likes: ripping on pop culture, concert shirts, Futurama/Family Guy reruns, writing, philosophy, sleeping til noon, sour patch kids, long drives with awesome music, intelligent conversations, tetris, vinyl albums, water skiing, rockband drums, late nights, the xgames, thunder, starry nights, haunted houses, roller coasters, mosh pits.

Random dislikes: watching pretty much any sport, snow, rap, Beyonce/Fergie/LadyGaGa, mornings, thug culture, MTV, the uber religious, spiders, Candy Corn, Nascar, ipods.

I'm doing the college thing right now. Books, pencils, calculators, energy drinks, tiny dorms, redundant food options... the whole bit.

Well, I'm pretty decent at playing the guitar, minesweeper, Rockband, writing, and cooking. That's about all I can think of, but maybe I have some undiscovered talents.

I don't know, I guess you'd have to ask those people. I think sometimes I come across as kind of unapproachable. I'm friendly, I promise.

Books: I love those autobiography-esque books by stand-up comedians. Lewis Black, Jimmy Norton, Dennis Leary.

Movies: Just throwing some out there, Constantine, Zack and Miri, Gran Torino, Taken, The Futuramas, Queen of the Damned, the Underworlds, the first Matrix, Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny, Black Snake Moan, the Resident Evils, Kill Bills, basically any superhero movie.

Music: ROCK!!, any kind of rock. Alternative (Goo Goo Dolls, Gin Blossoms, Dishwalla, Wallflowers, Bush, etc.), Indie (The Postal Service, Deathcab), Hard Rock/Metal (Godsmack, Black Stone Cherry, TOOL!!, Korn, Metallica, Offspring, Fair to Midland), Black Metal(Opeth, Dimmu Borgir, Amon Amarth, Kingdom of Sorrow). I love it all... except nickelback... and kidrock. Okay, so I'm pretty opinionated in this area.

!!!btw, there's an indie/rock band called, "The Ropes" , out of new york that's just sweet as hell. If you get nothing out of reading this profile, at the very least check them out.

Food: Sea food for sure, pasta, meat in general. Usually if I'm not in the mood for Red Lobster, I'm in the mood for Olive Garden and vice/versa.
