I've spent years overseas, living, working, and just traveling for fun. I think it's given me a pretty good perspective on life. The only continent that I have spend less than a month on is Africa. It's definitely on the list though. That said, California is definitely my home and San Diego is my favorite city. The weather, the people, the food, it all just fits me really well.
Going to concerts and shows is one of my favorite things to do. San Diego has an excellent music scene, and I can often be found checking out the cool shows around town.
Fitness is really important to me as well. I work out regularly and like to run long distances (10 miles plus). I also like to jump in the pool and swim some laps, if it's not too crowded.
I love the ocean. I work and play on it. Once upon a time, I was a Scuba instructor. It's really fun to hit the beach, or do other fun stuff on the water. I've also resolved to do more camping, and check out the cool stuff in the deserts to the east of us.
For TV I really like Archer, South Park, Arrested Development, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Bojack Horseman. I don't tend to like watching normal broadcast TV, advertisements really irritate me. I like to watch all my stuff on streaming services, like Netflix.
I listen to all types of music. I even like country if it's got a little grit to it, and I like rap if it's not just a bunch of bragging. Ska is probably still my favorite. I also enjoy punk and indie music.
I like all kinds of food, and I'm always down to try something new. Little hole-in-the-wall restaurants are the best. I'm not going to say that I never eat at big chain restaurants, but it is extremely rare.
