Hi! I'm new to the New Haven area, and I'm very excited to meet new people and explore everything this area has to offer. So far, I've enjoyed eating at the many multi-cultural restaurants, but would love to try more of them. In my professional life, I'm a teaching postdoc and inspire undergraduates to pursue science and research.

I know it's odd to say, but I'm very happy-go-lucky and optimistic about a lot of things.

Also, it seems a little contradicting, but I'm actually really shy at first. But, once I feel more comfortable, my friendly and goofy side shines!

Oh man, ask me in 5 years!

Connecting with people - I like to get to know people. Listening and problem solving - I'll always look for ways to make a bad situation seem better. Being active - I love anything that gets me running around. Multi-tasking - funny story, I was at the gym with my friend and catching up with a friend on the phone while working out and watching the news.

How animated I am - I tend to use a lot of wild arm movements when I talk to people. Many find me very dynamic because of my energetic personality. I'm very excitable because I like to laugh and smile a lot.

I LOVE to eat! Which is why I run so much.... Gotta burn it off some how. I have to admit, I eat potatoes nearly every day. I'm from Idaho, so I guess it makes sense. I enjoy all ethnic cuisine particularly Thai, Japanese, and Indian. Sadly, I haven't fully experienced all the wonderful restaurants New Haven has to offer, so I'm looking forward to exploring them further.

I like movies, but I just don't have the attention span to watch them. I need to catch up on 5+ years of movies I've been meaning to watch.

- A map - I like to know where I am and where I'm going (cheesy, I know)

What I need to do the next day (that's probably not good to admit).

I'm extremely afraid of the dark. My heart skips a beat every time I turn out the lights.
