My Self-Summary
Mister Smole was in a hurry to get to his unorthodox workshop.
Worriedly, he passed by the lane of unfinished humans. Mister Sole
was, in fact, manufacturing humans. In front of the door, Vanya the
apprentice got out of his way.
“What’s the weather like?”, Vanya asked, and lived.
Mister Smole froze in his pace. He threw a sharp glance at the
young man. Stupid questions were not allowed in his workshop. On
the list of forbidden questions, the worst ones were “How do you
do?” and “What’s up?” Vanya’s question found its place very high on
the list. Instead of smacking him, Mister Smole glared into Vanya’s
eyes.
“Humans will not disappear from this planet because of the bad air,
polluted ground or water” Mister Smole took a deep breath. “The
most dangerous of all is human pollution.” Vanya’s eyes got
wide-open. He was squeezing the washcloth that he was holding in
his hand. “Negative energy, conflicts, fear and projections, they
create scum with which people cover each other. It can’t be rinsed,
and in time, it gets thicker. Intake of positive energy gets
jammed, and one gets dry, tired, like one of them, a zombie, a
vampire.” Mister Smole clenched his crooked fingers into a
threatening fist.
“Is there a cure?” Vanya asked him, almost whispering. Mister Smole
reflected briefly. Determined, he nodded his head.
“There is”, he finally said, “You should lie down, and let a dog, a
cat, a cow or a horse lick your face clean. Animals eat the scum,
and as soon as they’re done, you feel like a real human
being.”
Mister Smole turned on his heels. “Tell the workers that I’ve gone
home.”
However, passing by him, Mister Smole poked Vanya mockingly.
