My self-summary
I'm an almost-graduate of UNC. I like books, beer, bunnies, and Bohemian Rhapsody. I identify as pansexual, not bisexual. Boo gender binary.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a Women's and Gender Studies major with a minor in Social and Economic Justice, and I'm graduating in a few weeks from UNC Chapel Hill.

Holy shit I just got into law school in Portland, so there's that. Looks like I'm moving across the country in a few months.

I'm gearing up to work A LOT in my small hometown over the summer to get that guac for grad school.

Also, I'm building an army of fat babes.
I’m really good at
Eatin' sunflower seeds.

Oh, and cooking and baking. I make a mean Black Pearl cake. I recently acquired a sourdough starter and am trying really, really hard to bake bread. I haven't killed my kombucha SCOBY yet.

I'm also ridiculously good at traveling. I'm a compact packer and a natural at public transportation. I go to great lengths to not be an obnoxious tourist.

I'm pretty good at finding rabid critters.
The first things people usually notice about me
My general look of distraction.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a huge fan of William S. Burroughs, Allen Ginsberg (but fuck Jack Kerouac), Irvine Welsh, Roberto Bolano, and Graham Greene. I also have a soft spot for bad lesbian fiction and the Russians.

I like movies. A lot. My favorite film is Gregg Araki's Nowhere. Feel free to argue with me about his significance in New Queer Cinema, but don't tell me putting Skinny Puppy in a film was the only good thing he ever did. Also, Cassavetes.

SO as far as TV goes I'm really diggin Broad City right now. Also My Mad Fat Diary is the greatest and I will defend Rae Earl with every ounce of my being because she is the fat representation I wish I had seen when I was 17 and fat and into better music than my friends and falling in love. AHH this show is just so great and I could talk about it forever. Message me if you saw the series 2 finale and we can gush together.

As far as music goes, I have pretty eclectic taste. Finally got a record player so I'm gradually acquiring more vinyl.
The six things I could never do without
Tea
Bunnies
John Waters films
Chickpeas
Floss
Feminism
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Intersectionality, Intersectional Feminism, the future, The Future, crayons, Oxford Commas, the significance of dreams, and how goddam beautiful the word bricolage is...
On a typical Friday night I am
At a party, a show, a bar, or in my bed snuggling with Netflix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can't whistle. You can't teach me.
I’m looking for
  • Everybody
  • Ages 18–28
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
I'm mostly on here for shits and giggles, but would love to meet some interesting new people. Message me if you like divey bars and aren't into "roots revival."

You should definitely message me if you're cool and from my hometown! I'll be stuck in Shelby all summer and probably hella bored.

Message me if you're from Portland and want to chat about how awesome your city is/ what an awesome time I'll have there in August!

OH! And message me if you're looking for a kombucha SCOBY. I can accommodate.
My mushrooms just keep reproducing and I can't drink kombucha that fast.

If you look like David Bowie, message me. We should bang.

Also, if you want to talk about how cool the phrase "desperate euphoria" is.
