Thanks for stopping by. Hopefully you were drawn in by my
dazzling good
looks....ha...hopefully. :-)
I very much prefer to meet people in person than through the
internet, but, I never put all of my eggs in one basket. I've met
some interesting people through this site (and oh so many
weirdos..). I'm more open minded than hopeful to its
possibilities.
So, a little about me:
I am an outdoorsy person. I love summer and outdoor activities. In
the not winter, I spend 90% of my day outside. Can't get enough.
Doesn't matter what I'm doing so long as its outside. I've recently
joined a bunch of sports teams, including a
frisbee team and a volleyball team. I
love sitting around parks (especially
central park) on nice days. I
also love all those physical activities,
hiking,
biking,
canoeing,
kayaking...lazy sundays in central park
are the best. I'm pretty active, so you have to be willing and able
to keep up.
I love
adventures. I'm all about New and
Exciting. I love to trynew things, go new places and do things I've
never done before. You only live once, and I wanna do it all. And
of course meet exciting new people along the way. If you think you
can teach me something new, I am already interested.
I like to travel. See above statement.
I am an avid gym goer. I take the stairs almost every day to work.
9 flights. OOrah.
I'm definitely a socialite. I love to meet new people, and I enjoy
having friends in every corner of the city. I am not shy at all.
Yes I talk to strangers. I get along with most people. But it turns
out, people in NYC aren't used to things like...conversation and
eye contact. If I sent you a message, I probably thought you were
interesting.
I organize events for meetup.com. It's a great way to meet
people.
I tend to be pretty
random and
spontaneous. It keeps things
interesting. I don't like routine or schedules. My biggest fear is
getting old and boring. It doesn't take much convincing to get me
to go anywhere, and I'll try anything once. But don't confuse
random with flaky, because I hate unreliable people.
I rarely drink. Actually, if I never had to take another sip of
alcohol, I don't think I'd be missing much. And I don't watch any
tv. At all. I think its too solitary an activity. I'd prefer to be
around people.
If you could describe me in one phrase: class clown. Anyone who
knows me will tell you I am really funny. But I guess you'll have
to see...
One day, I was driving and I saw a sign for BJs! I got pretty
excited....Turns out, they just sell food there. What a scam!
My ideal life is simple and free, kind of like those corona
commercials on the beach. No worries, no drama. I appreciate the
little things in life. True happiness is not getting what you want,
its wanting what you have. No drama. No worries.
What I miss most about college is mid-day naps. You never
appreciate them as a kid until you don't have it anymore. And snack
time...I must be paying someone's salary at the vending machine
company, for sure.
I tend to be very outspoken and straight-forward. People always
know where I stand. Life is too short to be subtle. And anyway the
good things that come to those who wait is usually what's left over
from those that got there first. I promise no head games or BS and
I expect the same in return.
I have two cats. One treats me like furniture that dispenses food.
No respect.
I don't believe chivalry is dead.
I'm a web developer. I make the internet, one website at a time.
I'm very passionate about it, it's my life's calling. Albeit it, I
do have a hard time being chained to a desk for 8 hours a
day...especially when its nice out.
I spend my days chasing my dreams. Life is good, I have no
complaints. I make the most of each day and live with no regrets.
"Hey, your hair is awesome". Thanks, I try...
I've also been told I have a nice smile. :-D
Books: I can't read....
Music: Anything up beat. That could be any genre. Lyrical poetry
always sells me (Clever lyrics, that is).
Movies: Kung fu/Martial arts movies. Or Comedies. Or anything with
space ships.
Weirdest thing about me: I don't like eating. It's a chore and I
take no pleasure in it. I just eat enough to not die/be hungry
anymore. If you're a foodie, you probably just passed out. I'll get
the smelling salts...
My laptop.
iPhone.
Good Friends.
Adventures.
Warm weather (or at least, the promise of it)
Google. (Seriously, how did people get through life before google?
Think about it.)
What would happen if Carmen San Diego and Waldo had a baby...it
would probably be virtually invisible.
New Things to Do on the weekends.
How difficult it would be to invent a weather machine to abolish
winter all together. More hot please.
Sword fighting.....yeah, really.
Oh, you know..a little bit of this, and a little bit of that.
Depends on how heinous the work week has been. Its really not what
you do or where you go, its who you're with.
I am actually a horse in a boy costume.
you like adventures and want to have some.
You want to. I don't bite... unless you're into that.
You shouldn't message me if:
You're still not sure about this "internet dating thing". If you
have no intention of seriously meeting anyone off this site: close
this window, turn off your computer, and go to a bar, the internet
is not for you. I'm not looking for internet pen pals. Just being
honest...
Also if you hate cats. or are allergic. I have two, you will
probably explode.
