I just watched a movie and here was the plot.

Bombs go off in the city you are living in. Your significant other, was in the range of the bomb, while you are safely home outside of the range. Your significant other doesn't die BUT gets infected with a slow acting virus/disease and the radio is telling you its highly contagious. It has a 50% mortality rate. They make it home, do you... 

1) Let them inside...

2) Lock them out...

 

Now flip it. You are infected and make it home, do you...

1) Ask to come inside...

2) Ask them to lock you out...

One of the greatest shows ever.

I just watched this film. It was epic. If you haven't seen it, you should go rent it. It is one of those rare films that stirred even my emotions.

I was always confused by the many many women on this site. I browse their profiles and read about how they are looking for friends. They want new friends. Friends are needed. Please can I meet some new people!

To be nice, I send them a little message.
"Hello, how are you today?"
Nothing scary, nothing mean, just a simple greeting. Like if you saw someone one the street. 9 out of 10 women just ignore me. They never reply. At first this was annoying, but then I started dating someone and it didn't really matter. However she began to wonder why I have no female friends.

In an attempt to show her I could have female friends, I tried to make some more on here. Once again I send a random number of simple greeting messages. All but one was ignored. Now this really confused me. I am no threat, I am already seeing someone. But still, I was ignored.

It would be completely understandable if we had nothing in common. If I, the nerd, messaged some sporty girl who has no interest in the things I do. We can all see why she wouldn't want to respond. But I message girls with things in common with me and still nothing.

But ah well. It is all good. If you are rude enough to ignore just a normal dude trying to say hello, then what does that say about you?

I was watching Scrubs today and the main character, J.D., said something that seemed like a paradox to me. I decided to share it with you all or those of you who are going to read this.

Now this is not verbatim.

"The most universal human feeling is the feeling of being alone."

Even if you are sitting there feeling lonely, know that people, all over the world, are feeling lonely too. Some might find this depressing. I find it very ironic. To think that one thing that unites us, one thing that makes it so we are not alone, is that very feeling of loneliness.
