I am witty, upbeat, and lost.
My Self-Summary
There, all done. I wrote this column last because it seems to be
the most broad (and stupid) of all of them, so yeah.
Everything more specific is either below or to the side, so why
even bother with this? Is this supposed to be like a first
impression kind of thing where someone has a chance to wow someone
with no attention span? Pass. If you can't take two minutes into
reading about someone, then there is obviously no reason to contact
them at all.
My name is Corey, and I try really hard. At what? I don't know, but
I'm sure it has to do with my future. Or past. That's what people
work for, right? I sure as hell don't live in the present.
What I’m doing with my life
Finishing up school (hopefully) as a
Computer Science major, and
getting a much better job than my current one (I work weddings, so
yeah... I know what looks nice in a wedding and what doesn't. Plus
we get to laugh at people who are half-drunk and
fully bad
dancers).
I live on my own so I get to experience the simple pleasures like
cleaning everything and paying bills. Fun!
I’m really good at
Everything.
Okay, not everything, but anything to do with
computers,
video games,
role-playing (I have read and
played almost every single one in english out there, as well as
freeform),
writing, hats, Deadpool
quotes/knowledge, movie quotes/knowledge/thespians, trivial
knowledge in general, and getting super pissed (but in a good
way).
I do want to see an
"I'm really bad
at:" section, so most people can put grammar, and I can put
bowling, jumping off cliffs, and watching terrible movies on it.
The first things people usually notice about me
My overwhelming desire to make a joke. (I'm not serious when I
don't have to be, there's already too much seriousness in my
life.)
Also, apparently I have a cute face, and "gorgeous" eyes.
Finally, I know way too much about almost any subject.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Let's just do the top three. Ready? Okay:
Books:
-
Requiem
for a Dream
-
A
Clockwork Orange
-
REAL
Ultimate Power: The Official Ninja Book
(I'm not into the Pirate/Ninja debacle, but this book is funny.
Besides, everyone knows robots always win)
Movies:
-
Animal
House
-
SLC Punk
-
Little
Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland (If you've seen this movie,
you'd know why)
Honorable Mention goes to any Mel Brooks movie
Music:
-
Misfits
-
HORSE the
band
-
Reel Big
Fish
(If these choices confuse you... yeah, me too)
Food:
Well, food is special in any case. I am a pretty good cook, but I
tend to lean towards the mundane (not that I'm bad at other
regional foods, but many times I go with what's easy.) So yeah, I
cna cook many things and I'll try most anything, but day-to-day can
get boring.
The six things I could never do without
1)
Deadpool
comics
2) My amazing phone that does everything (can even be a modem for
computers that need it)
3) My brothers
4) My wit and sense of humor
5) Interesting websites to read (I have plenty to mention if you'd
like)
6) Mystery Science Theater 3k (though since it's already cancelled,
it's kind of odd)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the price of rice in China. Or Bulgaria for that matter.
Characters, things to write about, dry humor, what I would say
opposed to what I actually said, ways to get the handcuffs off,
when I get to sleep in my bed next.
I also think occasionally about friends and family, but they
totally aren't as important as the other things mentioned. Oh, I
forgot about sarcasm.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working or studying mostly. On the rare occasions I get out, I'll
just call my friends and tag along. Ask them what they're typical
Fridays are and we'll have a much more successful topic here.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
My dogs name is Kirra. No, the most private thing I'm willing to
admit here is that I have not-so-good hearing, so sometimes I make
people repeat themselves. If you're thinking "that's not so bad",
trust me, some think it's extremely frustrating.
You should message me if
You can take humor and compliments in an even format, or if you
just enjoy talking (not everything has to be towards a
relationship). You aren't considerably older than me. You have seen
at least one movie in your life.
P.S.
BriTANick,
anyone?
