My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi! My name is Tjaden and I'll give you extra points if you can actually pronounce it without me telling you how. What you choose to do with these said "bonus points" is entirely up to you. Just seeing what this online dating thing is all about! I'm looking to build a solid connection with a good woman -- so if you're cool with a fun sense of humor then there's a possibility we just might get along.

I really love the outdoors and nature. I’ve spent a lot of time in the Great Lakes on the Minnesota/Canadian border, and have taken a week long canoe trip through the Boundary Waters. It’s always been a very spiritual experience for me to be on a distant lake or hike on a trail. I ran into a bear in California a few years ago. Lucky for him he was a laidback, California bear. Otherwise I would've had to box him and it would've devolved into some ridiculous tickle fight...

I'm also passionate about all the arts whether it's film, literature or music. I make culture a big part of my life whether it’s the theater, film, or going to see an art exhibit. Maybe I'll play you a song on my guitar sometime if you ask nice enough ; - )
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm an ad copywriter for a boutique web design company in Wichita. I write blogs and web content for a wide range of businesses. I'm also a creative writer, artist and play guitar...I'm kind of like a 'less famous' James Franco who's actually good at stuff.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

Probably my thick, wavy hair. I'm a ginger-powered descendant of Norse Vikings. I also have a pretty deep voice.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
6 is a serious number for a serious question. If people on "Naked & Afraid" can last 21 days in the Burmese jungle with the bare essentials, then I probably only need 2 to 3 things tops. Let's go with:

1. Fire starter
2. Water
3. "Me Tarzan, you Jane. Jane stay with Tarzan."
4. The rest will take care of itself
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how my Soap Opera character would be named Lysander "Rick" Magnolia. I'd be a professional equestrian polo champion, and a world-class metallurgist. He'd be a lover, boxer, painter and play Blues guitar in a band at the local honky-tonk. He would also own a wolf-bear/dog named Aleksi.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I enjoy concerts, sporting events, hiking, camping, boating, attending art shows, having drinks with friends, going to the theatre or movies. Sometimes I just like staying in by watching movies, working on an art project, or playing my guitar. I like spending time with family, especially hanging out with my 3-year-old nephew. He'll always ask me, "Is this a party?" And I say, "Buddy, it's always a party if you want it to be."
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

Even though everyone asks if I'm that "guy from Twilight," I am neither Rob Pattinson or a glitter vampire. I was born and raised in KS, but everyone still thinks I'm European. However, I can speak in a wide variety of convincing accents, so please let me know if you have a preference before our first phone call.
You should message me if

Isn't messaging first the "man's job"? I am indeed a man so I will try to contact you first. Sometimes I get busy and put it off until I can think of something somewhat charming/interesting to say. However, if you're feeling that certain "something" that you just can't explain, and I've been falling down on the "man job" of messaging first, then by all means go for it ; - )
