Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am respectful, shy, a clown, and serious all in one. Finding the
real self that got lost in 23 yrs of marriage. I was a chef for 27
yrs owned my own restaurant for five years, Personal chef for you
is a Bonus! I quit a great job To return to school and finish my
engineering degree, and care for my 85 yr old Father, I made him a
promise many years ago I would never put him in a nursing home as
long as I was physically able to care for him.
I do have a very strong faith in God... Just not involved with a
specific religion, I find that sometimes the spiritual gets lost in
the political... I find comfort in helping others less fortunate
than I. I believe you can tell alot about a person in how they
treat others... In other words Karma... I enjoy intelligent
conversations... I enjoy silly conversations... I dream of a better
world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives
questioned... I evidently like to use three periods after every
sentence I type... I also love holding hands... Gazing into
beautiful eyes... and Deep Passionate Kisses... I hope to find one
friend to spend time with... I want to get out of the house but
hate going alone... I need someone to kick me in the butt
UPDATE!! since I have been dating again I have dated a woman that
wanted to marry me after 8 dates... sorry too soon... another that
was so involved in her Adult children's lives (mid 20's) she had no
time left for herself or me.
And yet another who was dating 6 guys from this site
simultaneously... that was 5 too many...
So I took a break for a few years from dating to concentrate on
myself. I came back last year dated a couple of women that it
seemed we clicked, both plainly listed on their profile that they
were seeking a "Relationship" .... turned out the only commitment
they were seeking was Friends with Benefits (til they found someone
to have a relationship with). Although one did say that she had to
have someone that made more money than I did so he could buy her
I decided at the first of the year to try again. I did meet
someone, same intent looking for a "Relationship" we seemed to have
so much in common and dated for a couple of months.... the entire
time she kept a profile and was looking every day for someone else.
All of a sudden she tells me she let someone back in her life, from
a previous relationship, that was abusive to her.
Am I too old fashioned (I cant believe I typed that) to believe
that relationships should be monogamous, caring and supportive. I
think it's cruel to someone that is actually looking for a
relationship, that open's their heart when the other's heart is
shuttered and unaccepting.
I believe you can't "Look" for a serious relationship I believe
they just happen...
