My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
As an ornithologist I will advertise myself like a bird does with its song: I am healthy, strong, and can provide ample resources.

Online dating is the most metabolically efficient mating system and as a biologist I embrace it.

I am a retired punk rock singer and music promoter turned biologist. I work for Philly Parks and Recreation. I am a native Philadelphian. I think "Braveheart extra", hetero-bear, or woodsman should have been a body type choice. Nature, music, world travel, and getting absurd are my main pursuits. I am an avid bird watcher, aka a birder. I also like to ride bikes, do pushups and squats, make terrariums, garden, camp, cook, target shoot, paint, and block print. I'm socially liberal, but very anti-authoritarian. I'm passionate about wildlife conservation and economic equality. I like to think of myself as compassionate and fun. I like interesting bad ass women.

I get paid to watch birds and hang out with kids in nature. Life is pretty fantastic.
What I’m doing with my life

I work for the City of Philadelphia as an environmental educator. Sometimes I lead bird watching tours.

I cohost a wildlife podcast.

I am also finishing a masters degree in biology, ABT.
