BOOKS: I'm more of a news junkie than a book junkie so I do a lot
of my reading online. When I do read books they tend to be
non-fiction, though I will read some fiction it has some real world
relevance. (or it's just plain funny).
Examples: Most anything by Kurt Vonnegut or Douglas Adams, The
Post-American World, Guns Germs and Steel
NEWS: On the political spectrum I'm a social liberal that
recognizes that capitalism is the worst system for utilizing
resources, except for all the others. Thus I end up reading news
sources that report from that viewpoint.

Wall Street Journal, The Economist, Andrew Sullivan's Blog, New
York Times, LA Times
MOVIES: I'm a big fan of films with great cinematography and
lighting. I really like films that just LOOK good, especially if
they have long shots on arresting visuals. I will also like
anything that follows my TV tastes (see below).

MUSIC: I'm pretty damn eclectic when it comes to music. Generally I
like most stuff save for mainstream country and rap.

(though that may be because she's an Illuminati mind control

RADIO: I don't like commercials, so it's public radio for me.
Examples:
NPR and PRI, specifically This American Life, Wait, Wait, Don't
Tell Me, Talk of the Nation, and Planet Money.
FOOD: Steak, avocado, raw fish (sashimi, sushi, tartare), Italian
food, pricey sandwiches... I'm pretty eclectic in my food choices.
I mostly just don't like cottage cheese and cucumbers.
TV: I like satire, nightmare-comedy, surreal cartoons, and Mad
Men.
