My self-summary
My name is Dan. I'm a St. Louis man by way of Chicago. I'm looking for a woman who believes in herself, who gives as well as she gets and who will laugh at my corny jokes. Let's get together and laugh.
What I’m doing with my life
In a nutshell, living life as best as I can and enjoying it as much of it as I can :) . I currently work as a manager. It's not much but I work with awesome people and it pays the bills. I live down in South City and absolutely love it. I freelance write and am apparently good enough to get paid for my words. Recently put out a chapbook of poetry and am currently working on a second collection of poetry, a collection of short stories and a novel, along with writing for music magazines around town. Hopefully someday I can make a living off my writing.
I’m really good at
Writing, listening to people, letting my imagination run free and... ooo, shiny object!
The first things people usually notice about me
Depends on the person but usually it's my hair and my glasses. I seem to work the Harry Potter/Clark Kent look very well.

My all time favorite films are High Fidelity and The Philadelphia Story.

Scott Fitzgerald, Ian Fleming, Douglas Adams, Mark Twain, Lester Bangs, Chuck Klosterman, Bret Easton Ellis, Kurt Vonnegut, Alan Moore, and Neil Gaiman.
The six things I could never do without
1) Food
2) Water
3) Laughter
4) Imagination
5) Family
6) Friends
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Anything and everything. My mind can race from matters dealing with the possibility of alternate universes and the physics of time travel to the latest season of a tv show to the politics of US Presidents and British Prime Ministers within the past 20/30 years to who would win in a fight, Daffy or Donald, to reminding myself I need to pay my bills. As I said, anything and everything.
On a typical Friday night I am
out with friends or going to see a band or working
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm still fond of watching late 80s/early 90s cartoons while eating a bowl of Coco Puffs
You should message me if
