My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I live out of my suitcase. I was born and raised in Michigan, and my job is allowing me to stretch my legs a bit!

If you tell me where the best breweries in the area are, I'll take you there and buy you a beer! And then we'll become friends and it'll be really cool.

I'm a fraternal twin, which is pretty neat. I can't remember the last time that I was clean-shaven.

I am madly in love with Michigan, Detroit included. Fuck the haters.

I dislike most cats.

Pizza rules.

I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.

I can be very outgoing and love to meet new people, yet have the occasional introverted tendencies. I rage when people have terrible grammar. I'm probably a bit too full of myself.

I fly airplanes. I have no problem laughing at myself, and no problem laughing at/with you (preferably with). I'm not one to sweat the small things. I am happy.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I like to think that all of the travel for work I get to do makes me a sort of modern day cowboy, breaking hearts all over the country/world. But really it's more like a classy bum with a company credit card.

Sometimes (oftentimes) I like to drink and send incoherent messages to people. Sorry in advance.

I go home for special events. Namely holidays, graduations, weddings, etc.

Trying to drink my way across the planet.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making awkward situations more awkward by pointing out how awkward they are. Apparently this alienates people.

Using emoticons and excessive exclamation points in professional emails.

Singing karaoke very loud and averagely.

People have also told me I make some pretty solid pancakes, but I just use instant and eyeball the consistency. But it's whatever.

I've been told on many occasions that I know a lot of incredibly useless information. I like to think that I just have a good memory, but I don't know. I normally hold my own when watching Jeopardy!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My sparkling eyes and intoxicating smile. Wait, no... I think it's the ginger beard.

I'm pretty loud, too, so it's not uncommon for me to be heard before I am seen.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: I bought a Kindle recently in hopes that it would encourage me to read more. It's going... Averagely.

Movies: I have yet to see a movie I haven't enjoyed, and that's no lie.
There's Something About Mary and Forrest Gump may very well be the best ever, though.

If you don't like Rush or Tegan & Sara, just get the heck out of my face.

I'm slowly learning to eat (try) more and more foods. I was never SUPER picky before, just the standard person who refused to try something just because it looked "yucky." It's going along fairly well.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. A lake in Northern Michigan
2. Cell Phone. Can't get enough of those fart apps!
3. The internet, because I'm socially inept
4. Family and friends
5. My suitcase
6. Flannel
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why they don't play more Adele on the radio...

Whether or not I could pull off a mustache (I totally could).

Building my credit and paying off my loans. Riveting stuff, really.

I also try to think about the Universe, but I usually end up with a headache after five minutes or so.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
grabbing dinner and a few drinks with either friends or coworkers. Or friends who are also coworkers. Basically exploring wherever we are and trying to make the most of it!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I pick my nose far more often than an adult should.

you want to hear a joke that will probably make you sigh in frustration and maybe even ruin your day.

you like beer and all of the snobbery that can go along with it.

you future travel plans include "everywhere."

you can use the word "literally" properly, but will still use it wrong ironically (or not, it's whatever).

please do NOT message me if you think that "definitely" is spelt with an "a." Or if you think I'm a hypocrite for writing "spelt."
