Hi, My names Tom, I'm a recent Philosophy graduate trying to figure out what to do with my poorly chosen (in terms of careers) degree. At the moment I'm attempting to get a qualification that might allow me to teach it in some capacity.

Philosophy- When I said It was poorly chosen I only meant career wise, I love the subject.
Overthinking things- I guess that goes with the territory, It can be a good or a bad thing I guess.
I have a goofy sense of humour apparently, that's how my brother just described it anyway, I'm not sure I appreciate that or not.

And of course I'm sociable, friendly and all that. really I am, but everyone says it so it has become kind of devalued.

My height, I'm 6 foot 6 and a half. I actually don't think of myself as tall most of the time though I'm just used to it.

Books, Umberto Ecco Foucault's Pendulum,

Movies: Dr Strangelove, City Of God amongst others.

TV Shows: The Wire, Sopranos, Arrested Development, The Office (both versions the US one gets better after the third season), Peep Show.

Music: I like a lot of different Music, My top three Favourite bands are Neutral Milk Hotel, The Mountain Goats and the Clash. So american Indie and Punk mainly, but also Folk and even some Country.

Philosophy (in case you care): American Pragmatism - C.S. Pierce, William James, John Dewey, C.I. Lewis and so on.

Friedrich Nietzsche - No he wasn't a Nazi and neither am I, Yes he was a pretty terrible person (which I like to think I am not), but still one of my favourite philosophers, you just have to take the good and leave the bad.

Thomas Nagal - What it is like to be a Bat still hasn't been topped as the ultimate statement of the problem of conciousness IMO.

Philosophy, and anything that interests me really, I think too much.
