My name is Tom. I am currently a grad student at the University of Buffalo in the Masters of Library Science Program. I hope to eventually get a job as a young adult librarian at a public library or as a high school librarian.

I have a very deep love of films and music, and my tastes for either are very wide and constantly shifting.

I work at Wal-Mart in the dairy department. It may not be my ideal job, but the pay is good, my boss is the best boss I've ever had, and most of my co-workers are fun, so it's a good job for now.

I currently work part-time at Wal-mart (dairy department) while going to school full time.

I'm kind of a movie nerd. My tastes are very wide and seemingly contradictory, but I love foreign, classic, and indie films, and I tend toward horror and offbeat comedy.

Music
I'm also a music nerd. I have not yet met a genre of music that I can't find at least one artist I like. My favorite genres are punk and it's various offsprings, such as pop-punk, alt-rock, and ska (actually, ska predates punk, but my favorite ska bands all fall more on the punk side).

I have an overwhelming fear that no matter what I try to do in life I will end up failing. This fear leads me to be extremely timid sometimes, and I am constantly second-guessing myself. It also makes me a terrible public speaker.
