I am looking for someone that can accept me as a whole as I will do
the same. I am very open-minded and adventurous. I also believe
trust, honesty, and communication are the cornerstone of any
relationship and am very open. I am very easy going and caring but
can be complex at times. I have a very light side and a pretty dark
side. However, I am neither a doormat nor abuser, respectively. I
feel that makes me a fairly well rounded and balanced person.
However, I am far from perfect and dont expect anyone else to be
either. I am experienced and versed enough in this worlds nature to
have become a thoroughly jaded cynic yet choose to retain that
child-like curiosity about the universe to see a life filled with
optimistic opportunities within every possibility. While my feet
are firmly planted, I still feel the joyous yearning to always
reach for the stars with gleeful abandon. Overall, I am attracted
to intelligence, humor, charisma, empathy, and a big heart. I dont
expect you to spout string theory in quatrains as long as "Snookie"
or a "Kardashian" isn't your role model. I believe one should have
a healthy sense of class, grace, and self respect. I have a very
wicked sense of humor which can be witty, dry, morbid, or sarcastic
depending on subject matter and mood. And while nothing is really
sacred, I try not to be crass or gross. I much prefer intelligent
humor over your classic middle school fart jokes but I love all
kinds (dammit, they are still funny).
There is nothing greater than unconditional love and respect and feel that the process of finding common ground is what quintessentially builds a relationship which makes it all the more fun. Isn't that the whole point of all this anyways? I have loved and lost but am willing to get back out there time and again to do what it takes to find the one with that certain sparkle in their eye. The one that ignites that rush of excitement when the right chemistry is "Snap! Crackle! and Popping!" again. Like my sister says, "Put on your big girl panties and just do it!" And she's absolutely right.
I have been through plenty so I am incredibly hard to frighten. I was a Combat Medic with a specialty as a Medical Photographer in the military which means I did a lot of CSI/Forensics work and have experienced quite a bit. Because photography is one of my deepest passions, outside of my family, I honestly believe in the balance of both function and form in everything. Image is important but substance is paramount for longevity. While I am drawn to beauty and see it in everything, I enjoy exploring the contrasts between the deep weathered and aged textures in abandoned buildings every bit as much as the soft gentle tones of an exquisitely beautiful sunrise. I love the outdoors and appreciate the warm sun on my face on a beautiful San Diego day every bit as much as the occasionaI 3 AM Walmart excursion.
